Please help keep the electricity on in this cold Chicago weather!

Hello! I'm Ashley, and I'm from Chicago. I live with my 66 year old mother, and it's currently freezing cold here in Illinois. I'm here on this forum to ask for $55 to prevent my electricity from being shut off. I was on a deferred payment arrangement, and couldn't afford to make the payment this month, so it defaulted.
The $55 will activate the DPA again, and the electricity won't be shut off. I can send proof, it's a dire situation for me. My mom and I both have health issues, and it would be dangerous for us to be in the apartment in the dark in these frigid temperatures. Please consider helping!
