NEEDING A "BEATER WITH A HEATER"

Needing $2,000 to get a decent vehicle (a Beater with a Heater) that will last me through the winter.
My old 1999 pontiac with 286,531 miles blew its engine and wasn’t worth repairing because it had a lot of other things needing repaired.
I’m looking for a decent minivan or SUV for around $2500 to $3,000 that will get me from point A to B in relative safety and comfort until spring when I can start earning money again.
Right now I have no income and was relying on what little savings I had from last year to make it through the winter but my vehicle dying has put me in a financial crisis. :s
