Need help with car repairs

Hello everyone, I just came across this website today as I am in immediate help with car repairs. My brakes are grinding really bad. I have an interview tomorrow to get to that is pretty important. I get to take a company vehicle home every night to use for work if I land this job. I also have 4 kiddos, one being autistic and he goes to a special needs school 30 minutes away from home. I just need to make this car safe and drivable. I have no family or support system to lean on and im just feeling really alone and hopeless at this point. Ive been in a financial crisis for about 2 months now but that will change with this job. I have been doing Uber Eats and Grubhub for months now but I am unable to with the state the brakes are in
 They are getting ready to go out. I have already used PRC this year so that is not an option. I could use the help immediately. Thank you in advance for any help or kind words.
