Hey, there! My name is Enmanuel Martínez, and I'm and a filmmaker from Panama City, Panama in Central America. This past December, I got the honor of being accepted into the Advanced Studies Program: “The screenwriter as an author” at the Dominican Republic's film school, Chavón. This is a very exciting opportunity as it is a difficult school to get into. Being an artist in Panama doesn't pay much, and I have always had a full time job. Unfortunately, at the end of last year, the company I worked for ended operations unexpectedly, and I haven't been able to find a new job yet. I was able to make the December payment using the last of my savings, but I am in dire need of assistance to be able to make the other payments and don't lose the opportunity.
The total amount is 3,000 USD. I was able to get 10% discount from the school (300 USD) and 100 USD from my uncle. With the 600 USD, I already pay from my savings, I'm still missing 2100 USD to pay for the rest.
I really hope you can help me continue my education, so that I am able to create films that transcend Panama's boundaries and impact the entire world
