Landed on the island of Guam earn funds to support my back packing travels...bad choice. Guam is more expensive then one might think and compounded without local  friends or family. Funds drained away, gains barely slowed the pace of me sinking and then BAM! SUPER TYPHOON MAWAR SMASHED GUAM AND WHAT I HAD LEFT! I'm Homeless, stuck, hungry, and free of all worldly possessions thanks to looters(Save a backpack that had a spare old S8+, valid passport, and a wallet)
