Left abusive home at 18, need funds for surgery
#1
Hello. I'm Sarah, I'm 19, and I really need your help.

Last year I had to run away from my abusive household in the middle of the night. I had a mother who never supported the idea of surgery for my 60 degree scoliosis, even though multiple doctors recommended it. I have had to live with significant back pain for most of my adolescent years, and it's impossible for me to hold down any job that requires standing for a long time.

Since I left transitional housing and moved into my own apartment, I have been drowning in debt. I ended up coming down with a severe infection a few months ago that sent me to the ER 3 times, which left me with a medical bill of over $800.

I also had to repair my car, and this added up to over $2000

On top of that, I had to spend a great deal of my money on moving costs, as I had to move twice in the span of a few months. Now I'm left with next to nothing in my name, and I'm almost fresh out of food. I live in the second coldest city in America, and it's likely that I'll end up homeless due to not keeping up on bills.

Please, I need your help so I can pay off my debt and start properly saving for surgery.
