Hello ?!
My name is Kimberlee, I'm 33yrs old & lives in SC. I've been homeless for going on 3 months now & the only place I have to sleep is at a local park under the slides where the kids play. I get up around sunrise ? everyday so when ppl start flooding the park I don't scare the kids or parents. I don't have any family I can live with bcuz all my immediate family has passed away. Have family that are long distance but they don't return any calls or messages as if I don't exist to them since my immediate family isn't alive anymore. I was living with a former significant other, turned friend, until I got tired of the emotional & mental abuse then turned into physical abuse, so I packed up my most important things into a backpack, I told him I'd be back for the rest as soon as I can find somewhere to take it to but instead he threw it all away so I'm only left with the things on my back. I use wifi at local places like McDonald's, Hardee's, etc to contact ppl if needed I also use their restrooms for cleaning up and wall outlets for charging my phone everyday. The ppl that work at them places are usually pretty nice and don't care. I get food stamps once a month to be able to eat but unfortunately they don't last me all month long so I have to toughen it out till the next month. Sleeping on these streets are scary and it's not much actual sleeping happening bcuz I'm always on aware of what's going on around me. If I could just get a room or even the money for a tent, sleeping bag, pillow, and other camping materials I'd feel a lot safer since I could hide myself away in the woods zipped up in the tent. I have a chime account but that's the only form of payment I have to my name so if anyone would want to help or could possibly help me out that would be a prayer answered and come true!
