Sangria has a large, vascular tumour on her liver. It is causing anemia and could rupture. The veterinary surgical specialist that we have been seeing says that she is an excellent candidate for surgery and that the surgery will likely be curative. Further imaging showed no spread.
The price tag? $5,800 (cad).
We already paid $1,000 out of pocket for the specialist consultation and diagnostic ultrasound/x-rays. We're looking for any help we can get even if it's just a dollar or two. Her surgery is scheduled for the 14th of December.
Note: The veterinary estimate document is located in the November 23rd update on GoFundMe. I'm willing to answer any and all questions!
Thank you ahead of time!
