With a heart full of sorrow, I write this letter as a desperate mother who is struggling to hold her family together during an unbearably difficult time.
I am the mother of two small children, and every day feels like a battle just to meet our basic needs. My husband is gravely ill and cannot work or even assist in simple daily tasks. The weight of every burden—caring for our children, keeping our home, and trying to provide a future for them—rests entirely on my shoulders.
Among the many struggles we face, transportation has become one of the hardest. We do not own a vehicle, and I am forced to walk long distances with my children, no matter the weather—through rain, heat, and exhaustion.
