I have had pain in my right side for over a year not knowing the cause of it. I continued to work thinking that it is only a groin strain hoping that it will somehow heal and go away. Eventually I told my mate. He advised me to see a doctor as soon as possible. I registered with my local health center and after the scan I was diagnosed with hernia. My doctor referred me for the operation but the waiting time is about 4 months. I have an appointment for the assessment on 19th of December 2019. I hope I will get my operation as soon as possible. I am in terrible pain but my doctor can't do anything more for me. I can't return to my work and I need to pay my rent and living expenses for the whole period. I live in London and I'm afraid that if I become homeless I will not get this operation at all. I know I'm asking for a lot of money but I have no option. My rent is 400 a month.
