Struggling with rent.

I am almost £1K in arrears with my rent, and getting seriously stressed with it all. I just dunno how else to solve this, and its getting to that point where im getting letters in the post with threat of eviction, reposession of my things, etc... 
I dont normally do this kind of thing, but i really just dont know what else to do.
