My husband and I are in our early 30s and would love to have a baby. However, we simply cannot afford to - I am the higher earner and my company only pays statutory maternity pay. We cannot survive on this, so at the moment our dream of a child looks very far away. We have £2,000 saved up so far (approx. US $2,500), but we need another £15,000 (US $19,000) in order to be able to afford to live while I am on maternity leave.
Please can you help us to have a baby? You could literally be responsible for bringing a new life into the world.
