Teacher In Need
#1
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
In 2021, at 30 years old, I was diagnosed with multiple spinal disorders that seemed to come out of nowhere! I did multiple injections, physical therapy and a radiofrequency ablation to help ease the pain it was causing. That was expensive and ultimately drained what savings I had.
Recently my back gave out completely, again seemingly out of nowhere! I woke up one morning and couldn't walk. I ended up in the ER and have since been working with a spinal specialist. Between these Doctor's visits and all the imaging required, I have already accumulated $2,700 in bills. I haven't been able to work and even though my job is protected through FMLA, I am not being paid. I have $200 to my name and I haven't even had the surgery yet which will keep me out 6-12 weeks.
I am a single woman with no one to rely on for assistance. I'm worried about my bills obviously... Mortgage, car, car insurance, lights, water, trash, food, etc. I tried different local organizations and charities but I make "too much money" to qualify for assistance. I do understand that, but I have found myself in a real pickle. I have worked SO hard to establish myself, by myself in this world. My college, my car, my house, that was ALL me and I'm terrified to lose it all.
I am in constant pain and have limited mobility in both legs, so I am unable to work. I have been looking for remote, temporary jobs I can do but haven't had any luck there either.
I humbly ask for your assistance and will truly appreciate ANY and ALL help! Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!
