The last 20 years of my life have been dysfunctional and at times felt like hell. The past 5 months though, have been a daily hell. 

My older brother was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 almost 20 years ago. He has always refused medication. In his own words, he "loves" being manic. When he has a manic episode, he becomes violent and dangerous and causes chaos. My parents and I have dealt with physical abuse, sexual abuse, robbery and harassment. I myself do not have a relationship with him at all because of all the things he has done to me and my parents, however my parents see it differently. "He's my son!". 

No matter what he may do, they are there for him and feel guilt over his actions. Long story short, he had another manic episode back in February. After 20 years of never really doing anything about it, my parents would finally call the police when he would become violent and cause damage. (In the past my parents would scold me for calling the cops on him, even when he had a knife to my moms throat). My parents finally got a restraining order on him and kicked him out of the house (he's 38). I have been waiting for this moment for 20 years. 

In May, my brother came to our house and he beat my dad to the ground and also hit my mother and threatened to kill her. My dad could barely walk and had cuts all over his head and arms. He was arrested on May 5th. My parents felt destroyed by this. I am glad he's in jail awaiting court sentencing but my parents have completely lost it. They are depressed and feel guilty. They have stopped taking care of themselves and my mom lost her job. They look and feel so unwell, that fear they will become sick or have a heart attack. Everything I have paid for and done, is to help them, NOT my brother. 

I helped pay $7,000 to get a forensic psychologist to come to trial and help prove that my brother is mentally ill and should do his time at a mental health facility instead of jail. I helped pay for his new insurance since he was on medical but needs a better insurance ($900 per month). I am paying for my mothers therapist and psychiatrist. I have never seen her so torn down, talking about wanting to die because she failed her son. I lost my job in March due to my brothers constant harassment, they chose to let me go. He has made my life a living hell. I in no way want to help him, but need to for my parents well being. I am currently $6,900 in debt and have $50 dollars in my checking account. 

I am begging for some help, any amount would help me make it through tomorrow. My brothers court date is on July 26th and I'm hoping that's when the judge decides the outcome, that way my parents can finally begin to heal. His trial has continued being pushed back and he has been in jail since May 5th. My parents are an emotional wreck because of this, mother lost her job, and my father is retired. I have been paying for my brothers needs, my parents mental health and paying all the bills and paying for my dads damaged car and damages in the house. I am trying to be strong but I have been a mess as well, not knowing how much longer I can go. I went from being comfortable with what was in my bank account and now I want to cry seeing how broke I am. My credit card limit is 7,000, I am 100 dollars away.

I grew up in a very poor,problematic household. Seems like genetically we all have problems with our teeth. I’m only 22 and I’ve already lost a tooth and overall they are not very aesthetically appealing to the eye. for a young person like me it really hurts my self esteem and i really don’t wanna go outside too much to communicate with people and make friends cause I’m ashamed to smile but how can I live if I’m afraid to smile?
Dentistry is very expensive and I have no money for that, I would love to get a new smile that would allow me to have a better quality life…

I respectfully request your financial  assistance.  I am located in the Caribbean and is  currently unemployed, married has two children ages sixteen and twelve. My wife has been also unemployed for the past couple years because of mental health issues, depression, panic attacks on a regular basis and  also suffers from high blood pressure. I have always been the main bread  winner for the family but for the two past years I encountered a knee injury, which has  seriously incapacitated me from working up to this present day. My inner tendons of my right knee is severely damaged after falling by my bathroom area and was told then, by my doctor that healing will take some time eventually leading to surgery for a full recovery or total healing.  
This has resulted in serious financial problems as before my injury, already exited such issues, making matters worse not being able to service my monthly bills, feeding my family etc. It has been a horrific and very stressful life for the past two years, as we  have been evicted twice rent in arrears,  my children not being able to attend school, we had to resort to online schooling because that was the cheaper way out, no books to buy,  no uniforms, shoes to buy, no transportation fees, Lunch expenses etc. My children, hurts a lot because they er performing excellently at school, my daughter graduated from high school last year high passes in all her subjects. She is presently doing an  Associate Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship with an online school. Last year as well my son was suppose to write an exam to graduate from primary school as we call it in the Caribbean or junior high  to high school but he was not allowed to write the exam because of his many absence from school. However, we enrolled him in the same online school that my daughter attends. It ‘s painful for my wife and I  because my son is also very brilliant, at his age  he is into coding, programming, global History, Science and has a passion for Quantum Physics etc.  The School is located in Jamaica and we are already in arrears in tuition fees. In fact we have paid some of my daughter ‘s fees, there is a balance but have not been able to pay any fees for my son and we hope they will be allowed to commence the second year this coming September.     
 Rent is in arrears again, utility bills also in arrears, water, electricity and internet. Water and electricity are especially worse as there was recent disconnection, terrifying experience, interfered with the children ‘s schooling, my wife ‘s pressure went up the roof, however had to borrow money to reconnect adding to the list of debtors that I owe. With both utility companies, I had to get into agreements to pay arrears and current bills monthly, I have been struggling to do that. My car has been parked because of the situation, no insurance, no licence, needs tyres, air condition  not working and needs suspension parts. My licence has been expired since March 2021.  I want to get my car back on the road so I could rent it out, part of my plan to generate income. Most of all, we are not eating proper meals on a daily basis. That hurts a lot in regards to the children.       
 However, my wife ‘s mental state has worsen because of the entire situation, which is why I would greatly appreciate your assistance. In light of the above explanation, considering the entire situation  and according to my calculations am humbly requesting  about US $3000. This amount would pay off all debts having a balance to  keep us afloat,  as I continue to peruse  online jobs, because of my inability  to work physically as mentioned before. I have not been even able to take care of this injury medically as I should because of this situation.

My husband work as Tricycle driver and in a day he only earned 400php or 7 usd and it depends if he can get many passengers, if he's unfortunate lower than 7usd he could get. Hard worker father feeding a family of five. I have always had a job and had worked very hard for my family. My wife went to college to get a degree and make life better, but after graduating she found it very hard to find a job and then Covid, now inflation, and my wife went into a deep depression and his now on medication and is not working still and with extra cost credit card got out of hand, but I was able to get a loan for twenty-five thousand to consolidate of our bills but now I just get by with little free money left after each paycheck. So, I am reaching out to get assistance for my finances and hope that I can get any amount since to help me repay this loan or extra money to breathe between paychecks. I tried to get a second job and do uber or Lyft, but they do not seem to pay much and cost more for gas then I make. Hello My Name Is David, I usually don't ask for help but I have come on here because I need it. I lost my job due to some medical complications I had and being out of work a lot. I ended up getting treatment but it has left me in a pile of medical bills. I've been on the hunt for a new job. Hello everyone, I'm a young single parent of 2 and I'm in desperate need of some help. We are currently homeless and have no one to help. I have been to DSS they tried to send me and my children to a homeless shelter in a city 2 hours away. I have no vehicle so I have no way to even get there but the thing is the lady there accidentally informed me that once I go stay out there I would no longer be able to go through there dss I would have to go through the one in the city. She also through in at the end that I would no longer be there problem. Who even says that! So any who I've been every where I can go for help just to be denied. NY (which is the state we live in) claims to have all these resources that can help but in reality they do not! The ones that they do have tehy make it impossible for you to even be qualified for. You would think being homeless with 2 small children would be enough! I'm beyond lost on what to do or how some people can be so unkind but I'm hoping and praying to run into some kind ones on here! I'm really not asking for much. I hate the fact that I'm in this situations and have to be on here asking for help instead of being the one to help because that's just who I am. I help even when I barely have the means. My name is Katherine, I am a mom of 2 amazing precious boys who deserve everything of the best life has to offer but as hard as it is to face the reality is that due to our financial circumstances im struggling to provide them with opportunities and experiences they deserve to become the best they can be.

My heart is broken and as tough and a strong willed person I usually am I must be honest and say that the current financial struggles and worries of a brighter future for my family are very dim. It is emotionally effecting me, the constant internal stress and worries are actually unbearable. 

My husband and I unfortunately lost our jobs during Covid lockdowns and this is what started the financial problems we are now faced with. During the process of trying to get back on our feet my father suddenly passed away from Covid and we had to relocate to try pick up the pieces. This loss unfortunately has made our struggles all the more harder to handle. 

We have been living day to day for over a year, survival mode is all we know at this point, it is not ideal for a family to live this way as it is opposite of wanting to create a safe secure happy home for my family.

We have exhausted all of our resources and although it is not easy to ask for help I am reaching out to kindly ask for assistance in helping my family and I to get back on our feet and on a path that we can create a better and brighter future.
