hi, my name is Aubrey, and first let me say God Bless you for helping others and that I am very happy for you that you are fortunate enough to be able to do that. I can imagine that it does your heart so much good. Next, I'd like to thank you in advance for reading and considering my request. I am a single mom to my son, his name is Eban, he just turned 12 and hes special needs. He is attending a private school for special needs students here in Pensacola where we live, and he really loves going to school there, which is an answer to our prayers because he struggled very much in public school and it was a nightmare. He has been awarded a scholarhship that pays the majority of the tuition and fees, but i end up owing 600 dollars each month to pay the difference. I am a disabled Army veteran and unable to work, and I do get compensation every month that pays the bills but thats it. I am very grateful for that money please dont get me wrong, but its just not enough, and i have applied for 100% disability but its a long process. We have been relying on my parents for help and i dont want to burden them anymore, so I have been trying everything I can to get some help for us. I also have to pack my son lunch for school every day, and I dont get food stamps or anything so im struggling to buy groceries as well. Please, if you are able to help us I would be so grateful, and it would be so nice for my son to see his mom smiling and being able to enjoy life with him instead of stressed and worried about money all the time. Thank you so much.

Single Father Looking for a little help |

I am a full-time single father and I have sole custody of my 9 year old son.
When covid hit, I lost my job, as many did. It was extremely difficult because my son had just began Kindergarten and it was completely virtual. This meant I couldn't find another job doing anything other than working from home because I unfortunately have no support system to help with that type of thing.
I was doing some things like Uber eats and Instacart in order to just barely keep us afloat, but it was though b/c I would have to bring him with me so I couldn't do it as much as I wanted/needed to. Unfortunately a year ago I lost my car which put me in an even worse position.
I got extremely behind on my rent and could not pay it for the last year because of the fact that I had lost my source of income, and have no car. So I finally started working recently doing odd jobs, nothing super stable, but earning a small amount. My land lord has evicted me, however since I have been here for a long time he told me if I pay my Rent in full on 11/2 and then make monthly payments we can stay here. If I'm late at all, I have to leave.
I am $500 short on my rent right now which is due 11/02 and could really use the help. I wont' have any more money for 2 weeks and I have absolutely nowhere to go with my son. I am not asking for thousands or an unrealistic amount, so I am hoping that some kind soul could help me reach this goal. I have nothing left to sell, and I just don't want my son to have to switch school, and uproot his whole life.
I really appreciate any help , below is my paypal link.

A huge and sincere Thank you in advance to anyone who sees this and helps.

Help a mother and daughter get out of their car and into a home of any kind! |

Hi I'm super frustrated because I just wrote something in a post and it just got deleted when I tried to upload a photo of my daughter and myself. So, I'm going to attempt this one more time, but it probably won't be as good as the original post. I recently be wne homeless and am struggling to get by. I have a vehicle and 2 jobs, but with all of my living expenses and trust me, being homeless in a car is way more expensive than most people realize! Especially be sure there is no way to prepare food so you either starve, nuke ramens at gas stations, or have to eat out! It's terribly unhealthy and the gas prices are Insane! If you want to run the air, or heater In my car, you can expe t to kiss your full tank of gas goodbye in under 4 hours! Which brings me to why I'm requesting help from you kind folks... my car is an 08 Saturn and it has over 200,000 miles on it and if I don't put some repairs into it asap... I will be walking to work and completely on the streets! I need to register my car (when my car was stolen a year ago the guy stoke my title.. and this is also why I'm homeless, because I came on vacation to Albuquerque, from Ohio and withing a few days, my vehicle was stolen and not returned for almost a year... so I quickly be ame homeless and stranded). Although I'm working and saving for a place, it's impossible to save and pay all of my necessities AND fix car, and get license and registration! My most immediate need is a roof over my head, but that is just too much to ask for. So, I'm requesting the actual roof over my head... my car be repaired and legal to drive, so that I don't have to walk to work, because Albuquerque is a very crazy city and it's not safe to be out here on these streets alone. I need a water pump, head gasket, used tires, a selenoid for my transmission, tranny fluid, fuel filter, my registration and my license. I'm going to give you an estimate of the cost of these items.. it's approximate, because I have to go to work in just a few minutes. I don't need much for labor. Because I have a close friend who's willing to work on it for next to nothing! The price of registration, and license isn't too bad, I had a license in my state I came from, but have to get one for this state now to be legal. The mvd averaged that at about 180$ total and the parts for car approx. 1500$. So I'm requesting 1680$ and to be honest anything at all is better than what I have now. Please help my daughter and I so that I can have some encouragement. As I'm so down on my luck, that it's causing me to grow into a deeper depression daily, while we struggle to get through each day. I promise I'll pay it forward, when I get back on my feet again⁷. Good luck to everyone else who needs help on this forum, thanks and may the universe bless us all! ? ❤️

I've been living with fibromyalgia for over 10 years now, working full time and enjoying my life as best I could. However, in the last year or so my condition has worsened significantly. It has affected my ability to do my job, which requires me to sit for long periods. The brain fog and fatigue from my condition affect my mental capabilities to serve my customers, who are calling for assistance.
In mid-August I hit a crisis point. I have FMLA which protects my job when I miss days but I have used all my paid vacation time for those sick days by then. With no paid sick leave at my job I then had to take those protected sick days unpaid. I was missing a day or 2 per week for several weeks prior to the crisis point. I was basically unaware of how much time I was missing until I realized how far into financial trouble I had gotten.
At that point I saw my doctor for help to try finding a way to better manage my condition. I love my job and working but I was no longer a reliable asset to my company. Long story short, I took a short term disability break, not realizing what would happen.
In order to have my claim approved so I could get paid for this time off I needed to have a functional capacity evaluation form filled out. My doctor said he was not certified to complete this form and it was my responsibility to find a provider who could. I have spent nearly every weekday since then trying to do this but to no success. They all say they don't do that anymore.
In the meantime I have had no income since the end of August. All my credit is maxed out because I'd been living on credit cards for a while. I have had to rely on food banks and the help of friends and family for minimal daily needs like TP and such. My bills are all now 2 months behind and I have received an eviction notice. I'm trying to get help through social services but it's a slow and intricate process, as some may know. It's all up in the air.
On top of everything, my cat's bad teeth problem has gotten much worse, to the point of him being near death. I knew about it before now but the cost to treat him was prohibitive and I had to put it off and hope. His name is Knight and he's a Tuxedo cat. He's only 13 and deserves a longer life but I can't get him in to the vet because I'm in such a deep financial hole I can barely see the sun. He is so smart and a wonderful companion when I'm feeling bad. I don't know what I will do without him. I won't even have money to lay him to rest if he does die. I've been doing everything I can to help him eat by offering food and water every hour. It's not very easy for him to eat and he's lost a few pounds. He's still trying, though, and so am I.
If you feel my story is deserving of your help I will use your donation to get us back on our feet. If I lose my home I don't know where we'd go. I will use this money to keep our home and get him the medical attention he needs immediately. I haven't been in this situation before and I'm afraid. I'm 57 and my fibromyalgia prevents me from hustling like I did when I was younger and healthier. I've always taken care of myself but now I'm hobbled by circumstances and need help desperately.
Please consider a donation today to help me stay afloat until I can do it myself again. I have always believed in paying my blessings forward and practicing kindness. I'm hopeful you can feel that and know your help will not stop with me.
Thank you for reading my story. I will never forget your kindness

Becoming an Expecting Single Mother: A Journey Towards Financial Independence
Life has a way of presenting unexpected challenges, and for me, the path to motherhood took an unexpected turn. As an expecting single mother working in the restaurant industry, the prospect of balancing a career with the responsibilities of parenthood became a paramount concern. In this essay, I will share my story and outline my plan to obtain funds for a home office setup, allowing me to generate income from home once my baby is born.
The news of my pregnancy brought a mix of emotions, from joy to anxiety. As a single mother, I knew I would have to navigate this journey alone, which included providing for my child financially. My job as a server in a local restaurant provided me with a steady income, but the long hours and physically demanding work made me realize that it wouldn't be sustainable once the baby arrived.
To ensure a better future for my child, I began exploring options for working from home. This led me to the idea of setting up a home office where I could pursue remote work opportunities, freelance projects, or even start a small home-based business. However, creating a functional home office required an investment in equipment and resources that I currently couldn't afford.
In my pursuit of financial independence and providing a stable environment for my child, I decided to develop a plan to obtain funds for the home office setup. This plan revolves around several key steps:
1. Budgeting and Saving: I started by analyzing my current financial situation and creating a detailed budget. By carefully tracking my income and expenses, I identified areas where I could cut costs and save money. This disciplined approach allowed me to start setting aside a portion of my earnings for the home office fund.
2. Seeking Financial Assistance: As a single mother, I researched available government programs, grants, and support systems that could assist me in achieving my goal. These resources might include childcare subsidies, housing assistance, and grants for women entrepreneurs. I also explored community organizations that could offer financial guidance and support.
3. Side Hustles and Freelancing: To accelerate my savings and fundraising efforts, I began taking on side gigs and freelancing work in my spare time. These additional income streams provided a crucial boost to my savings, bringing me closer to my home office setup goal.
4. Personal Network and Crowdfunding: I reached out to friends and family for support, both financially and emotionally. They not only offered encouragement but some even contributed to my home office fund. Additionally, I considered crowdfunding platforms to expand my network and potentially receive financial backing from a wider audience.
5. Research and Planning: Simultaneously, I researched the specific equipment and resources needed for an effective home office setup. I compared prices, looked for deals, and explored second-hand options to maximize the value of every dollar I saved.
6. Time Management and Skill Development: To prepare for my transition to a home-based career, I invested in self-improvement. I enrolled in online courses to learn new skills that would make me more marketable in remote work positions.
7. Legal and Tax Considerations: I consulted with legal and financial advisors to ensure I understood the tax implications of working from home and to set up my home office in a way that would be tax-efficient.
Through this multi-pronged approach, I am steadily working toward my goal of obtaining funds for a home office setup. My determination, resourcefulness, and commitment to providing a stable and nurturing environment for my child are the driving forces behind my efforts. By combining budgeting, financial assistance, side hustles, crowdfunding, research, skill development, and legal considerations, I am confident that I can establish a home office and transition into a home-based career that will allow me to balance motherhood and financial independence.
In conclusion, my journey as an expecting single mother in the restaurant industry has prompted me to seek alternative means of income by establishing a home office. This endeavor is not only about providing for my child but also about creating a better future for both of us. Through careful planning and diligent effort, I am determined to turn this challenging chapter of my life into a story of resilience, resourcefulness, and success.
