Hope someone can help us , my husband desperately needs a total hip replacement at the young age of 52.  He struggles everyday with his job as we cannot afford for him to be off work (I also work full time and we get no state benefits) We have both worked since leaving school and even while our children were young 2 still are school age.  He would work days I would work evenings.  Money has always been a struggle but we have got by.  Now he needs this operation as he is in constant pain.  Even for his scans and consultant appointments he has to book holiday time as his employer does not pay any sick pay.   We are already worried about keeping up mortgage payments and bills  for the time he is likely to be off work.  I hope some kind soul will help us out.   This money would help with his recovery .
