Cancer survivor new chapter
Help Me Begin My Bright New Chapter ❤️
I never imagined I would find myself writing something like this, but sometimes life brings us to a place where we have to put our pride aside, have faith, and ask for a little help.
My name is Lindsay. I am a Christian woman, a mother, and a breast cancer survivor. At 35 years old, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2-positive breast cancer. I faced an unimaginable battle, including aggressive treatment, surgery, and years of hormone-suppressing medication. Through every difficult moment, my faith in God carried me. I am incredibly grateful to be here today.
I truly believed the hardest chapters of my life were behind me. But recently, life brought several unexpected heartbreaks all at once.
I was laid off from my job, and just six days later, my husband of 24 years walked away from our marriage. My adult children have also moved out to begin their own lives. Suddenly, the life and home I had known for so many years changed almost overnight.
I have since found new employment, and I am working hard to rebuild my independence. I am also taking a big step toward creating a home of my own and starting over.
I am asking for help raising $2,000 to cover the deposit for my new home.
This isn’t about luxury or extravagance. It’s about having a safe, stable place to call home. It’s about putting the pieces back together, finding my footing, and creating a peaceful new beginning.
After surviving cancer, losing my job, and experiencing the end of a 24-year marriage, I know that I am stronger than I sometimes feel. I still believe beautiful things are ahead. I believe God has a purpose for this next chapter, even when I cannot see the whole picture.
If you are able to contribute, any amount would mean more than I could ever express. If you cannot donate, sharing my story or simply keeping me in your prayers would mean just as much.
I am not looking for someone to change my entire life. I am simply hoping for a little kindness to help me take this next step.
I have spent so much of my life fighting to survive. Now, I am ready to truly live again.
Here’s to new beginnings, answered prayers, unexpected kindness, and the bright chapter I know is still waiting for me.
With a grateful heart,
Lindsay ❤️
