A little help during an unexpected transition ❤️

I’m putting myself out there a little, which isn’t necessarily something that comes naturally to me.

I’m a career professional, a single mom, and a pretty determined person who has spent the better part of my career building programs, leading teams, supporting communities, and helping organizations do meaningful work.

Recently, I unexpectedly found myself unemployed when the organization I was working for closed. I’m actively looking for my next opportunity and putting a lot of energy into figuring out what comes next.

In the meantime, there’s a financial gap between where I am and where I know I’m headed. As a single parent, that transition carries a little extra weight.

I’m not looking for a handout indefinitely, and I’m certainly not looking for a shortcut. I’m simply hoping to connect with people who have the means and generosity to help someone bridge an unexpected chapter of life.

Whether that’s help with groceries, childcare, a utility bill, or a little breathing room while I secure my next position, every bit of kindness would make a difference.

If you’re someone who enjoys helping people directly, or you know of a community where people support one another in this way, I’d be incredibly grateful.

And yes, I’m doing everything I can to find my next job. I’d just really prefer to avoid having to sell feet pictures in the meantime. 😂
