This is the first time I have ever done anything like this so I’m slightly nervous, but figured it was worth a shot.
I am a 40 year old Mum with 2 young children, a 6 year old little girl and 2 year old little boy. I have just finished treatment (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy) for triple negative breast cancer for the second time. 
Those of you that know about breast cancer will know that triple negative is the most deadly and aggressive type, with the highest risk of recurrence. For the moment I am ok ?? but I live in fear of the awful thing. I don’t let it steal my joy though. 
The first time I was diagnosed was in 2019, 6 months after losing my son (my daughters twin brother) 2 weeks before they were born. We knew he was very poorly for many weeks before he passed away. I then had to carry him for 2 weeks to keep my daughter safe. It was a harrowing time and I believe the trauma contributed to my cancer. 
The second time I was diagnosed my daughter had just been officially diagnosed with autism. We were also struggling financially. Again I believe the stress contributed to my cancer coming back. Apparently my body is a bit dramatic ?
So now I am a couple of months out of treatment and finding my feet again. My children and husband are my pride and joy and I try to make every precious moment with them count. I don’t know what the future holds, but I just want some peace now. A boring “normal” life for my babies and some ease from the financial strain for my husband.
