I won't get into major details but I had a. Husband who lost our kids when he got us homeless. I met a easy younger man and we got together but he hid the fact he is a jealous controlling narcist and I need some help to get me into my own place and build myself back up to get my children back. I am new here as I did not know these kinds of sites existed and somebody referred me here as a long shot but I'll take it cuz it's better than no shot. During covid I was laid off of work due to the lack of work and the fact that I worked for tow truck co that was a subcontractor for a municipality in the state of New Jersey that was shut down during covid I had worked for them for 5 years. My job is a tow truck dispatcher for a small family owned operated towing company was shut down when motor vehicle shut down and the police were told not to impound cars if necessary due to the fact that people would have no way of getting the proper documentation from motor vehicle to get them out of impound. My boss kept me on as long as possible but with no money coming in eventually he had to leave me off with the promise of bringing me back on as soon as he could. I had enough money to keep me afloat till this past year which was fine cuz my boss was going to bring me back this past November except for the fact that come October of this past year he passed away the business with your family run was shut down and sold so I found myself out of a job all together. Unemployment has been giving me problems and I just got approved for legal aid and they are going to bat for me requesting all of my paperwork to go over to see why they are not paying me out on my claim as of yet. I receive one check from unemployment and then it stopped. Managed to get by this whole time by the skin of my teeth being as my hot water was shut off 2 months ago and thank God it's summer I've managed to make do but the last straw came on the 28th when I came home from being out in filling out applications and looking for a job I came home to a eviction notice on my door and they're not giving me much time to figure this out as my court date is Monday morning I'm in the rears 2 months and hot water shut off I have no kids it's just me my dad passed away 12 years ago my mother is God knows where she left when we I was 16 I don't have any other family I don't have anywhere to turn I don't have anywhere to go literally at all except the street I don't even have a car anymore to live out of because during the pandemic I couldn't afford my insurance for my registration and I let it lap and my car got impounded by a different municipality not one that I worked for and I couldn't afford the impound fees and I lost my vehicle I owned. I'm 38years old this is the first time in my life sine i was 14 that I've ever been unemployed. Don't know why I'm plenty of time cuz I never thought I ever ever in my entire life first time I've never been able to provide myself and I'm completely at the mercy of courts my landlords I've got nothing left and nowhere to go I have an 11-year-old dog is my life shelter and being put to sleep or high because nobody wants a senior dog could you catch that I rescued while I was doing volunteer work will end up in the same place I don't have kids but they are my kids they are my life they're my everything. I'm just asking if anybody has in their heart can help I always put out the energy I expect to get back in life I've always given people a place to stay bought people groceries  I volunteer I've always done what I can when I can to help those in need and here I am finding myself in need with nowhere to turn. My rent is 1200 dollars as of Monday with my rent and what I am in the rears I need to come up with 3,300 and I'm devastated and defeated I don't know where or what I'm going to do. Over the past couple months things have been so hard I've struggled so bad I've even put myself into the hospital for mental health because I've never been this defeated and down on my luck and I just don't know how to handle it. Scott county in government assistance but because I'm a single female that's capable of working even though I'm struggling to find a job with no children they're not so quick to help me. I filled out so many applications online I don't even know if these people are getting them or if we even making it to the top of the pile and reading them what happened to the days where you go in you fill out an application you hand it to the manager and either get interviewed there or schedule an interview and you know you're application was seen now it just goes into the last dark circles od the internet and who knows who's getting them and actually reading them. So this is me begging pleading whatever you want to call it anybody has a little extra has in their heart and can help me keep my home my animals I promise I will continue to do everything my power to pay it forward like I've been doing my entire life. I don't think anybody should have to give up their home and feel this way ever in their life and I've always been one to help some people didn't have to deal with this and now here I am with no help and no where to turn. Thank you very nice there's anything you need I can provide all documentation I don't want to post it online for everybody to see but if you privately message me whatever I can provide all Court notices to show my current situation. Please help me keep my animals in my home they are literally all I got and I've been all they've had. No it's no comparison but they are my children I love them more than life itself I would give everything for them to live a happy fulfilling life.

Hi, I have three daughters, this year they will be starting 3rd, 9th and 10th grade, unfortunately things have not gone well the last (couple) years. Covid has been the single most devastating thing that has happened to my life and the illness itself hasn't even directly affected me. I just put up with good morals respect even better work ethic I have been employed since I was 14 years old and I'm 38 now this is the first time in my life I've never had a job and the first time in my entire life I've ever had to file for unemployment. When you coming to first hit my hours just got cut because I was a dispatcher for a tow truck company that towed for a city municipality in the state of New Jersey and police we're told not to pull anybody over because motor vehicle being closed and everything being shut down if cars were impounded people had no way of getting their cars back improving ownership is how proper documentation so therefore move my company wasn't making any money and I got laid off. I filed for unemployment and I got one check for $1,000 and then I got nothing for almost a year and I called every day and then I got another check for $3,000 and then I got a letter in the mail stating that i owed all that back. Employment garnished my income tax return this year for the overpayment that they said they paid me I just got legal aid to get on them because legally I'm entitled to unemployment I met all the requirements I was at my company for 5 years full-time paid into it I was on the books so in the meantime I was laid off for all of covid into this coming year my boss was going to bring me back to work this November my boss ended up passing away in October needless to say I didn't go back to work the business is sold off and shut down. I have me do it side jobs and side gigs here and there to maintain my rent but it got harder and harder still have not received unemployment my legal aid attorney just got off paperwork he needs from unemployment to go over with me I have an appointment for that in 2 weeks but I just got an eviction notice on my door yesterday and my court date is August 2nd and I need to come up with two months back rent at $1,200. My father passed away 12 years ago I don't have any family to turn to my mother took off when I was 16 for a midlife crisis thing I really haven't spoken to her much since even if I did she doesn't have it to help me she's on permanent disability I'm not married I don't have kids my kids are my animals having 11 year old dog that has been everything to me she's pretty much been the longest relationship I've had in my life if I become homeless I don't know what's going to happen to her I have my two cats that were rescues like being possession of them when I was volunteering moving elderly people that were not able and had no family to help them move so we helped with moving and clean out and at one lady was a hoarder didn't even know she had a feral cat living in her house that had kittens the two kittens that survived I ended up rescuing my animals are all I have I've already lost everything I own when I moved into this place and had to start over when my unemployment check came in I thought my unemployment was going to come every week therefore I thought it was safe to move and put a security deposit down on this place for the process of moving they came in confiscated my U-Haul truck because I have to put in the security deposit down I didn't have the funds to pay for the U-Haul truck and they confiscated it with all of my belongings in it and unemployment has not come back and since I got that $3,000 so therefore everything I owned was auctioned off to pay for the truck I mean everything I own photos yearbooks clothing. I put myself into the hospital because my mental state was not well and I didn't know what to do and I'm getting back to that point I've gone to state services like social services because I'm a single adult female and have no kids or no health issues I'm pretty much bottom of the totem poles helping me. I just been looking for help to keep my place so I don't have to get rid of my animals and so I don't have to give up my home and everything I just bought to put back into my home can't do this all over again my hot water got turned off a month ago and I've been making do without that but all I'm looking for to help me keep this place and I need to come up the background and try to figure out what I'm going to do from here on out. My name is Megan, I am a single mother of 4 so I don't have a lot to offer.  But what I do have to offer is a little free time to help out an extremely close friend/family member that just recently had the biggest medical emergency in their life.  This medical emergency actually went as far as amputation that needed done. This close friend/family has no health insurance and has 2 kids, teenage and preteen aged, at home to take care of. I am doing all that I can by helping with the kids and major house duties. I have been trying to help find insurance and everything as well but everything takes time, and time is not what she has. She has now fallen behind on her rent and other bills because getting a foot amputation means no working privilege for a while. He small Toyota Corolla had to be sold  to cover bills and pluse it would not hold a wheel chair,so now she is in need of a new vehicle so that she can get to appointments and have the accomodations that she needs when leaving home. The doctors are wanting a nurse to come out 4 days a week but she can't afford to pay that cost so they are wanting to put her in a nursing home until everything medical wise starts looking up. Her depression is kicking in, blood pressure is high because of money. She's trying to have a positive outlook but it's hard because she just keeps what she says losing and never getting a win. She's scared of losing her kids while she's already losing body parts and everything else material in her life.
