I'm not sure if this post is allowed, but if not please feel free to take it down. I am posting because my son and I truly need some help with money. We have had a rough year.. In January, we 3 including my ex at that moment moved here from Texas for a job opportunity. My ex (my son's dad) was very abusive, he ended up abusing and threatening to take my life in August because I told him I couldn't continue this 5 year relationship. He went to jail for about 2 months, we haven't heard from him and he hasn't helped us out with anything. In October i was involved in a car wreck, so our way of transportation was taken away.. at the moment, we are in a motel with a 2 week voucher. It has been hard to find work because I don't have help or money for my son (4) to be watched. He wasn't enrolled into school or preschool because at the beginning I had help with my ex (his dad) watching him while each of us would work. He was also not fully potty trained at the beginning of the year. 
I'm asking for help from every one of you, any one of you.. It would be really appreciated if we could get some help from you. There isn't a specific amount, everything counts!! We are truly struggling, and it is hard to come on here and ask for help. I have no other option at this time. I am trying my best by applying for assistance and resources, but it's a waiting game for sure. Thank you to those of you who reach out and to those of you who end up helping us out at this time. As a proud veteran who has served my country for 14 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, I find myself in situation of being homeless . Im asking for assistance in overcoming this challenging period in my life. After my honorable discharge from the military, I had high hopes of transitioning smoothly into civilian life. However, the reality has been far more difficult than I anticipated. Despite my best efforts, I have found myself without a permanent place to call home and have been sleeping in my car for the past few weeks , and to be honest it has taken a toll on my physical and mental well-being, leaving me feeling down and hopeless which isn’t me I’m usually very uneat and positive , but I just feel beaten now . Fortunately, I have recently secured a job opportunity that offers a glimmer of hope. I am scheduled to start my new position on the 13th of December, which brings me a sense of relief and optimism. However, the financial strain of being homeless has made it nearly impossible for me to save enough money for a security deposit and 2 month's rent . I understand that there are countless individuals and families facing similar hardships, and it is not easy to provide help to everyone. However, I am hopeful that my military service and dedication to my country might count for something and inspire you to extend a helping hand. Ive never asked for a handout before and it’s soul destroying but I’ve got to do something to square myself away. One of the most horrible aspects of my current situation is the thought of not being able to spend Christmas with my son. As a father, it pains me deeply to think that I might not be able to provide him with the joy and warmth of Christmas .Your help in finding a stable living situation would not only impact my life but also allow me to be present for my son during this special time of the year. My children and myself are recently coming out of a very severe domestic abuse situation. We were forced to solely depend on him for everything. We were very secluded. I’m here to humbly ask for your help to help me break the debt cycle. I fell into some hard times months ago and have been living paycheck to paycheck. At the time I decided to take out some short term installment loans. But now I’m drowning in them and I can’t get out. You pay some off and then you need to take more out to stay on top so the cycle continues. :Am in need of help to start up my dream business, poultry and fish pond. I have been jobless for 5 years, barely feed myself,I wish to earn a living.

I am a widow with 3 kids. My husband died July 2019. The kids and I were doing OK until Covid severely impacted our income. Since then I have been living off savings but the savings has run out. I have been looking for a job but I have no working vehicle, last April someone stole the catalytic converter off my vehicle (right in my driveway). There is also something else wrong with it but I'm not sure what as no one can look at it until I can replace the catalytic converter. I didn't get it fixed because I figured it would just get stolen again but I really need a vehicle and now I don't have the money to fix it. It also needs to be registered so I can drive it without getting a ticket, all of which takes money. We have also been living off my credit cards and now I have a mountain of credit card debt (over $30,000.00). I am worried we are going to be homeless as I will be unable to pay the mortgage next month. I am trying to not be depressed but it's hard not to be, especially this time of year and the expectation of Christmas. I have no family here, none of my family can help me financially anyway as they are all just getting by. I am struggling right now to make sure our utilities are not shut off.
