Hello everyone and thank you in advance to taking the time to read my post. I'm from a small town in western PA. I'm 25 and recently moved back home about a year ago. I'm sure some of you are thinking why is a 25 year old moving back home? Long story short I decided to move back home shortly after I found out my dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. And unfortunately he passed away on October 18 2021. Him and my mother have been together since the age of 14 married since 1987. I felt I should stay at home and help her and to make sure she was going to be okay. Fast forward a bit I finally got back into the work force. I'm currently walking to work since my vehicle needs a new engine. My mother works crazy hours so I just walk and if she is free she will give me a ride. Well two weeks ago I fell at home and broke my wrist. I'm currently out of work until December and I have not heard anything about my short term disability. I was also told it will take a long time to get it. I guess some guys went back to work and then they got it. I never really asked for money.. I always worked for it. Anything would help.. Hello, to be honest I never expected to reach this point in my life but I can’t keep going on like this anymore. My family and I run a local business of import-export of things from outside. We bring things, materials or whatever people buy from Amazon, or other businesses from outside our country and send with Fedex or DHL whatever they want to send abroad. As any business, we had our high or lows in question of monetary gain.

So, here is the problem: DHL and Fedex have rules you should follow so you won’t get penalized or, even worse, incarcerated. One of those rules is you can’t send money or active cards by any means. My uncle worked with us for 3 years and knew all these rules. I don’t know what got through his mind when he agreed to send a woman forty credit cards inside a book to Miami. Obviously, this didn’t work at all and the police and a representative of DHL got to the Local where we work taking into custody the manager, my uncle and my sister who worked with us too. The manager didn’t know any of this and got arrested too.

My country is, to put it shortly, corrupt everywhere and because of this, the amount of charges the prosecutor filed towards my uncle were exorbitant and because my father didn’t want to leave his brother in prison asked for money and used whatever we had in our accounts to pay 20.000 dollars, and then the lawyers asked for 10.000 to get my sister out too because she knew of what my uncle was doing, putting her as an accomplice of all this disaster, my father almost got incarcerated too because he is the owner of the company.

Because of this, my family and I had to go through the monetary disaster my uncle put us, and I haven’t seen him anymore after my dad sacrificed a great deal for him. It’s been a year since all this happened and we haven’t recuperated from… I honestly don’t know how to call it anymore. My father is getting sick trying to pay the money he had to borrow from friends, yes only friends, because no one from our family helped him in getting my uncle out of prison.

Yesterday my dad had a stress attack because of the debt. My family is collapsing because of this, and I try and try to look for ways to help, but is not enough. The free time I have in college is very limited. I do the odd job here and there and my family is working hard to stay out of debt, but I don’t know what else to do. Things have been rough lately, moved to the other side of the country for a job, started in a hotel paying about $2200/mo for a few months. Moved in with a coworker who ended up screwing me out of $3400, forced to move again, cost me about 3000 to move and security deposit, etc. Theb had a baby, took vacation time to bond with my son, HR screwed up my vacation time which forced me to take out some small payday loans, now stuck in the endless of paying loans and then taking them back out, every 2 weeks.

Before, someone says something, I'm gonna go ahead and address this. I can't go to a food bank because we don't have a way there. I haven't had a vehicle since 2017. I forgot to pay a speeding ticket which escalated into my license being suspended until 2025. My girlfriend, had never had a license, despite my begging and pleading for her to go get it...that's another topic for another day 

Now I'm screwed, I have $18 in my bank account and nothing for me and my girlfriend to eat. My son has enough formula and diapers to last at least until I get paid again on the 4th...me however not so much, anything you can do will help and I hate to ask but idk what else to do. Hi I'm a single mother with three kids I recently left my kids dad of ten years and I've never got a license because my kids dad didn't let me have one since then he would let me drive but then would call and report that I was driving with out a license if I wasn't home at the exact time that he told me to be back so I have accumulated driving fines and now I can't get a license with out paying those first and being a single mother with three kids is hard to do anything with out a car or license so please help me and my kids become independent

Hey everyone how are you doing?

So, I'm a 21y old boy who lives alone in Portugal, and my dream is to build a career around video editing. 

So why don't I focus on video editing? My problem is that I don't have a good enough pc to actually persue the carreer and I also wanna join a course to actually learn from experts instead of only self-learning.

So after making some maths, I realized that I need 5 000€ to afford the equipment and the course itself.

I even got a job to try reach that goal, but I only get ~700€ per month, and after paying rent, transportation, and basic life expenses I can't even save 100€ per month, which means it would take more than 4 years to reach that goal (that's if everything goes perfect), and right now I don't even have 30€ on my account.

I even tried to sign a loan with a lot of banks but every single one refuses me because my salary is too low, so I'm trying to find people who have the financial "power" to help me. I could even try to get help from family or friends, but I don't have a family that I can rely on nor do I have friends.

Tbh I don't know if I can I live that kind of life for more than 4 years, without getting suicidal. My only pleasures in life are gaming and video editing (which my pc can't handle) and my cat, and a few weeks back my cat went missing, so I'm really getting depressed.

That's why I reached out to you all, maybe you can help me make my life a bit better and help me make this dream a reality.

Hi y’all. I’m not used to begging, or asking for help really but I have no where else to turn. I have been living paycheck to paycheck while looking for another job. Unfortunately, because of a car accident years ago; I can’t work any labor jobs or any job where I can’t sit, and I’ve been denied disability due to my age (25). I don’t live above my means, I use my sister’s streaming services for tv and I don’t buy things for myself (I have had the same clothing since I was in highschool.) I don’t eat fast food because it’s too expensive. I have been trying for years to slowly accumulate experience to get a much better paying job, but with the jobs I’d be able to take, I need years more experience or a degree; neither of which I can afford right now. I was working as a piercing apprentice the past 8 months, but the piercer I was working under decided to move out of state before finishing my training and thus I lost my job last week. I have $20 to my name, and I need $900 to be able to pay rent on the 1st. I asked her if I could at least finish out the week so I could pay something to my landlord, and she said she couldn’t afford it with the move. While understandable, is cruel. My landlord is no better, I explained what happened and he told me that he expects rent on the 1st. Please, I don’t know what to do and I’m just trying to make it this month; I’ll figure out next month. I just need help today..

Hello, I am actually based in the UK, Darlington, County Durham.  I am writing today because I am in urgent need of financial help. I have lived alone for the last 3 years in a town where I don't really have any family or friends.  Since my ex partner and I split in 2019 I decided to stay close for the sake of my daughter and just because it's the correct and responsible thing to do. Since that time (which coincided with the pandemic, I have tried to maintain my role of activities coordinator at a local private mental health hospital. Due to suffering depression and anxiety on and off since 2019 I found myself unable to work from April of this year, everything just came to a head.
I kind of had my hand forced by the pressure of mounting debt rising up around me and had to go back to work a month ago but whilst escorting a patient round the local town with a colleague, I found myself unable to cope with the role and my anxiety got the better of me. So I am now back to square one it seems. I have become in debt to the tune of around 6000 uk pounds ($6800). Council tax, rent, water rates and more have got to the stage where I have received letters stating that I have run out of time to pay and the next stage is the bailiffs coming round to extract my belongings.
I have already asked many friends/family members to help but unfortunately nobody i know is in a position to do so. 
All I want to do is be here for my daughter, she is my everything. I want to see her grow up and guide her through life. My only option if I don't get out of this financial hell would be to move back to my hometown 100 miles away where I know I will at least be safe. In doing that though I will be rendering myself unable to see my daughter regularly and maintaining the amazing relationship and bond that we have together.
So, If you have taken the time to read this post, please know that I appreciate your time hugely.  I have always tried to live my life by being helpful to others and never expect anything from anyone in return. I am now though unfortunately at breaking point, where I feel I could lose everything. It's come to the point where I have to swallow my pride and ask for help from strangers.
I don't expect anyone to help me but would be eternally grateful to any kind person that did.

I am desperately trying to raise funds for Hemorrhoidectomy. I have both external hemorrhoids and anal skin tags that need to be removed. They are constantly being irritated and causing pain, and the only treatment at this point is surgery, as nothing else is working. Hi I'm Nicole and I need help! I've been in contacting with this wealthy couple in the Phillipines and they want to give me 130k. The problem is I accidently typed in an extra account number when I sent them my bank account information. So, I decided to take a screen shot and it was wrong!!!!!
