I recently got divorced and my ex left me with alot of debt mainly a loan for the house and a personal loan.
In the beginning i was able to pull through it because of my life savings and working two jobs.
But now my life savings got depleted and i can barely het by each month. I already went to the bank to see if i could get the loans put together and have it being payed back on a Longer term so the Cost would be lower, but it got denied.

If it was just me alone then i would wait and see how things went, but since my son is living with me that is not the best option.

Good morning everyone,

I will keep this short and simple.  I reached out in August of this year for help with some bills as I'm in the process of leaving a dangerous situation called my marriage.  With everything that's went on, I've lost a considerable amount of income, sleep, peace, and joy.

I do have a job which is paying but I am struggling to pay my bills in full each month.  I literally have to pay to go to work because the bus system doesn't operate during my report time for me to be at work on time daily.  

I have done my due diligence since I lost my original job in June of applying through my city for help.  I believe they are very back logged because I just had a follow up from a city worker last week.  On top of that, I have rent court coming up this week and I definitely don't have the money to pay in full.  

My rent is $1,250/mo.  I owe approximately 3-5 months depending on what the city approves me for.  At a minimum, 3 months which equals $3,750.  I have three kids to support as well.  It's getting very cold out already.  I literally have to take uber and lyft to work and that's an average of $18 or more depending on the day.

Absolutely any help would be appreciated.  I'm literally trying not to give up.  I have lost so much and can't figure out how to make this quit.

I had the best life i could have wanted. Living with my mother and in the last 10 years of her life helped care for her. We lived month to month financially but we were happy.

She died in 2017 and my world changed.

I have nothing to my name, i dont own a car, nor a home. I live alone in a 1 bedroom flat and still live month to month.

I took out a credit card when i had to move, moving isnt cheap with paying a deposit, a security bond and month rent up front so my plan was to put in on a card and then pay it off, but life never goes to plan.

My current debt is approx £6,000 and im now faced with the prospect of my landlord selling the flat i rent and again im having to plan keeping money aside to cover moving. I do feel at times like giving up, like im not succeeding in life.

If anyone can help in any way at all i would be appreciative. Hand on heart any money received would be paid off my card straight away and help ease the burden.

It's December in a few days so i know it isnt the ideal time to ask for support.

Hi, my name is Stephanie, I'm a single mom of 3 small childre who doesnt know what else to do. Recently my friend and I were involved in a hit and run accident. Someone repetitively rear-ended us a total of 3 times while driving down highway at 65mph. The third time they hit us I was no longer able to keep control of my car which lead to us skiding sideways then up an inbankment and into 2 trees causing us to flip over completely totaling my car out. The other driver then left without even check to see is we were okay. Luckily we are still alive but it has left me with a shattered shin bone and cracked pelvic and my friend with dislocated shoulder. My car is totaled and since they left the scene of the accident and I only had liability insurance I have no way to replace my vehicle nor pay doctor bills. I've still got another week before can return to work but once I can Im nkt even sure how I'm going to get back and forth at this moment. I have been a nurse for the past 3 years and i absolutely love it, i truely feel i found my calling. I love helping people. Christmas has always been a big deal for my family and i, every year each of my children pick a child from the angel tree and buy gifts for their child, and i shop for a family, it is one of the highlights of our christmas tradition. Unfortunately not only do i not have the funds to adopt a family this christmas, i also dont have the funds for any of our favorite christmas activities, or gifts. I recently lost my job due to unforeseen circumstances. I have applied to multiple places and I’m in the hiring process for an amazing nursing job but it’s been on a hold up now for 5 weeks, when I reached out to the employer the reassured me that it usually takes this long to complete the hiring process, and finalizing the paperwork, and completing the trainings i most likely wont start for another 5 to 8 weeks. I have been out of work with no pay for 9 weeks already and I have nothing left finacialy or mentally , I used my savings on my rent, my car was repoed, I’m now behind on bills, but at least I have my family. My kids are the reason I’m still going and I want to make this Christmas so special for them. I’m raising funds for this incident where a robbery at our home was made by two men who broke in via the entrance pictured that leads down from the street. Fortunately we are safe, but the Police are unable to recover their stolen possessions, and for a family of two being myself and my elderly moother that is not one that can be said to be well off it is devastating.


I had my work computer stolen, for which my company has deducted from next wages to replace, and my elderly mother had her handbag stolen which contained important paperwork and funds for medical procedures of arthroscopy and a developing cataract and now from all the stress has been going through stages of collapsing at periods of time which needs to be looked into through private facilities.


As my mother is a foreigner living in the country, we will need to have her re-issued permit of stay and passports as well as other important documentation that would be required as soon as possible and can only be done quickly enough through lawyers and other assisting authorities there, so as not to have my elderly mother have to physically attend everything in her condition and fortunately for me I already am covered due to being born here. Not being insured has been a big issue for her at present due to the paperwork not existing and so everything is just way too high in pricing.


The doors that they have had broken into are also in need of replacing as soon as possible as it was easy to force open, so these funds will assist immensely to their present needs of their health and wellbeing and safety going forward to prevent this happening again as well and to be safe during the winter as well as my mother's health from not deteriorating any further as any more collapses will make my own panic over the sitaution get worse as already dont know what I would do without her.

The funds I am hoping can be collected at best is around 3000 euro.
I do want to apologize in advance for such a high figure though this is all due to the fact of how an uninsured person would have to pay almost 3 times the price of what exists and for example her chest MRI exams of my mother without government help comes up to 1000 euros on its own from the hospital called "Υγεια" where we went for the ER on one of the days of her fearful collapses. So with such a collected amount we should be able to get everything checked here and back on our feet in no time! We appreciate every single bit of help and bless your hearts!
