Hello,
I am a single mother of 3 little boys ages 11,8,& 6. We recently went through a domestic violence situation and had to have my ex husband arrested. He was the financial provider for our household as I am currently at home due to some undiagnosed health issues I'm visiting multiple specialists to get fixed. We currently have multiple past due bills and my gas tank is on empty and the kids go to counseling 2 days a week (2 go one day and the other goes a different day). I drive 25 mins one way to take them to their appointments. Our lights and water are due to be shut off any day now. Both bills are near $400 together. I drive a truck and it takes around $60 to fill it up. Times have gotten really hard and I'm not usually one to ask for help but I've found myself with nowhere to turn. 3 days ago I applied for rental and utility assistance but they said it will take 14-21 business days to be approved and my utilities will be shut off by then.
