I’m writing a fantasy novel and struggling to develop a villain who isn’t just evil for the sake of it. I want a backstory that feels believable—something tragic, maybe even sympathetic. I love characters like Magneto or Killmonger, where you understand their pain even if you don’t agree with them. Do you know any tools that help with building layered villains?
