Septic alarm after heavy rain
#1
We had unusually heavy rain last weekend, and the septic alarm started going off for the first time. The system was working normally before the storm, and there are no obvious sewage backups inside the house. I’m wondering if saturated ground can temporarily cause this kind of alarm or if it usually points to something more serious?

The alarm stopped after several hours, but I’m not sure whether that means the problem resolved itself. What would you check first in this situation?
