Do modern radiators really improve heating efficiency?
#2
Modern radiators genuinely are more efficient, not just marketing.

Cast iron takes ages to heat up and cool down which works against modern combi boilers. Steel and aluminium panels respond quickly, boiler cycles off faster and runs more efficiently.

Upgrading to modern radiators with double panel convector fins is the real gain, pushing more heat into the room at lower water temperatures without the boiler working harder.

Pair new radiators with thermostatic valves and proper system balancing to see the real difference in warmth and bills.
