Do modern radiators really improve heating efficiency?
#1
Hello everyone.

I keep reading that newer radiator designs are more efficient than traditional ones, but I’m not sure how much difference that actually makes in practice. Are modern radiators truly better at retaining heat and reducing energy consumption, or is it mostly marketing?

I’m considering replacing several older units in my home and want to make a well-informed decision.

If anyone has switched from older cast-iron or basic panel radiators to newer models, I’d love to hear whether you noticed a real improvement in warmth and energy bills.
