I've been browsing around lately and noticed a lot of free AI chat apps popping up, all promising engaging conversations and even companionship. My friend was telling me how cool some of the features are getting, and it sounds pretty promising for just casual conversational fun without any pressure. I'm wondering if anyone here has dipped their toes into these yet. Are the free versions actually good enough to get a taste of what AI conversation is like, or are they mostly just hooks for paid features? Any personal experiences would be great to hear!
