Higher Critical Essay Tips

Let's just say I can't write critical essays in my life under certain conditions. Give me a few hours and I'll be fine, but in the exam it will take me an hour to write 1 paragraph. In nat 5, I basically rewrote an essay (originally written out of time) that I partially remembered because the question was so similar, and that's probably the only reason I managed to scribble the letter A.

It's a little more complicated than that. I was predicted C, which, in my opinion, is ... an optimistic forecast.

My teacher is not the most helpful. Her advice to me was to "practice writing an essay under certain conditions," which isn't particularly helpful when you don't even know where to start.
