Hello everyone.
Has anyone tried the Old Fashioned cocktail syrup from Aged & Charred for making cocktails at home? I’m curious how it compares to the traditional sugar cube or simple syrup approach in an Old Fashioned.
The product claims to balance cherry, orange zest, bitters, and spice while letting the whiskey still shine through, which sounds ideal for bourbon or rye lovers. I like the idea of skipping the prep steps but still getting a craft-quality drink.
Does it really enhance the depth of flavor, or does it make the cocktail too sweet or artificial? Would you recommend it for beginners or more experienced home bartenders looking to streamline their mixing process?
