How to get more traffic to a brand new website?
#1
Hey everyone, I just launched a small online shop based out of Toronto and honestly the traffic is dead quiet. I knew it would be slow at first but I did not expect crickets. Anyone got some practical tips to actually get some eyeballs on a brand new site?

The first thing to wrap your head around is that traffic does not magically appear just because you hit publish, you need to figure out where your potential customers are hanging out and meet them there. That could mean tweaking your content so search engines actually understand what your pages are about, or showing up in communities where people already discuss the stuff you sell. Tracking your website statistics right from day one helps you spot what is working before you waste weeks chasing the wrong approach, there is a list of tips on driving traffic without a huge budget here https://surfi.site/top-5-traffic-tips.php .

Do not sleep on local directories and Canadian business listings, they do not send massive traffic but they help build credibility early on and every bit counts when you are starting from zero.
