Why does Outlook export only one contact at a time to VCF format?
#1
I was trying to export my contacts from Outlook to VCF format so I could import them into my Android phone. However, when I tried to save the contacts, Outlook only allowed me to export one contact at a time as a VCF file. I have hundreds of contacts, so doing this manually will take a lot of time. Is there any way to export multiple Outlook contacts to VCF format in bulk instead of saving them one by one?

When exporting contacts from a PST to VCF, Microsoft Outlook has some limitations. And Outlook can export one contact at a time, but can't export all contacts at a time. For the bulk conversion, you have to find the right tool that can export all Outlook contacts in a single VCF without any trouble. So I will recommend two ways to import data into a vCard file.
Most of the users choose the manual process by opening each contact and saving it as a VCF file. While this method works for a small number of contacts, it becomes difficult and time-consuming when hundreds of contacts need to be exported.
Manual method disadvantages
  • Outlook exports only one contact at a time in VCF format.
  • Very time-consuming for large PST contact lists
  • Possibility of missing some contacts during export
  • Requires repetitive manual steps for each contact
Professional Tool
To solve this limitation, the ToolsBaer PST to vCard Converter provides a smarter and faster solution. Users can convert contacts without uploading data to any server or online platform because it is an offline contact converter software. The tool converts multiple Outlook PST contacts into VCF files in one process while keeping all contact details intact.

  • Bulk PST to VCF conversion in a single process
