How Paper io Works
Game Objective
The objective in paper io is to capture as much land as possible while avoiding elimination. Each player controls a square that moves around the arena and leaves a trail when outside their base.
Capturing Land
To capture land you must move outside your base and then reconnect back to it. The trail you create turns into new territory once you return safely.
Eliminating Opponents
If another player touches your trail before you complete your loop you are eliminated. You can also eliminate opponents by cutting through their trails.
