A Mistake That Changed Everything – Seeking Help to Move Forward
Hello, my name is Ashish, and I come from a small town in Kanpur, India, with humble roots. I am here to share my story, not out of choice, but out of necessity.
In an attempt to support my family and pay off my education loan, I made a decision that I deeply regret. In pursuit of quick funds, I ventured into a business, hoping to multiply my savings. Unfortunately, it backfired, and I lost INR 50 lakhs (approximately $60,000 USD) in a single week.
I made this decision out of desperation, driven by the need to ease my parents' burdens and ensure our future. Since February, I have been working tirelessly to repay this debt and have managed to pay back INR 6 lakhs (about $7,200 USD) so far. However, the remaining amount looms over me like a dark cloud.
I need $12,000 immediately to start thinking about the rest as it is a trap.
I have exhausted my savings, cut down on every expense, and explored all avenues, but the weight of this situation is now taking a toll on me. The stress and pressure are pushing me into depression, and I find myself struggling to stay hopeful.
It’s not easy for me to ask for help, but after eight months of trying to handle this alone, I’ve realized I can’t do it anymore. I’m reaching out here as a last resort, hoping for kindness and understanding from strangers.
