A Closer Look at the New PSLE Scoring System and PSLE AL Score - awinash62 - 11-21-2024 The PSLE AL score evaluates each subject on an 8-point scale, with AL1 being the highest (for scores of 90 and above) and AL8 the lowest. Students’ total PSLE score is calculated by adding the AL scores of their four subjects. The best possible total score is 4, indicating AL1 across all subjects, while the lowest possible score is 32. Unlike the T-score system, which ranked students relative to their peers, the new PSLE scoring system focuses on absolute performance. This means that students are assessed based on their understanding and mastery of the subject rather than competing against others. |
