Veteran/ Student needs help. Everything that can go wrong has. - Vetneedshelp - 09-17-2021 I’m a full time student and I’ve been living out of my car for a month. My plans for housing fell through and I just moved to the area. My car is also breaking down a lot and it’s drained my bank account to almost nothing, the power steering went out, it started to over heat, the transmission is slipping and leaking fluid, it’s on it’s last leg and I’ll be dead in the water if it dies.  I have job interviews next week, I’m trying to square this away and get back on my feet, and I don’t like asking for money but I don’t know how I’m going to make it work. I money for rent/security deposit so I can get off the streets. The housing authority isn’t accepting new applications so I can’t even sign up for public housing.  I got back from Afghanistan last year and have been suffering from degenerative discs and PTSD which is making life hard. I go to the VA for appointments and it’s been helping but the past year has been the hardest in my life and all these situations have compounded into what it is right now.  Anything will help and I appreciate it thank you.  I’d you need any credentials just ask me I’m not going to be homeless and broke forever and will pay it forward.
