My ex husband's truck broke down in Rochester Minnesota, on his way home to South Dakota, from visiting our kids in Michigan. I picked him up and brought him home. He was renting a room that's no longer available and we've been renting hotels but cannot catch up. I need to get home to Michigan and am essentially homeless until i do. My employment is also on the line and I've exhausted my savings. I don't have the funds to get home. If i can get a stable place until his next check then i can go home. I don't feel comfortable leaving until he can pick up his truck as it's 8 hours away and he doesn't have the means to get to it. Our plan is for me to to drop him on my way home. Our situation is beyond uncomfortable, it's dire.

As any teacher will tell you, we don't get into the profession for the money, and for 11 years I have taken great pride in impacting our future generations at the expense of saving for my own future. However, with my family expanding in the next few months, I need to start thinking about how I can provide for them, especially as my wife was made redundant at the beginning of the Covid pandemic.

Hi everyone - I am a mama to a little 16 month old boy and also a small business owner. Due to covid, like most people right now, I am completely out of work. I had some savings getting me through at first but sadly now all money has been exhausted.
