Hi everyone.
I’ve been playing a lot of competitive shooters lately, and I’ve noticed a strange trend regarding player behavior and aesthetics. Usually, I use a very aggressive or mechanical avatar, but recently I switched to a soft, glowing heart pfp just to see how people would react in the lobby.
Surprisingly, the trash talk has decreased significantly, and teammates seem much more willing to coordinate with me during intense matches. Do you think that choosing a friendlier image actually subconsciously influences how others perceive your skill or temperament?
I’m genuinely curious if I should stick with my new heart pfp.
