Hi everyone,
I am in the process of reconciliating our annual ledgers and am focusing on the upcoming hst return deadline for my self-employed consulting business.
Since my fiscal year ends on December 31, I am balancing the June 15 filing deadline with the earlier April 30 payment requirement to avoid daily compounded interest.
Do any of you use specific automated tools to separate Ontario's 13% HST from out-of-province GST collections for cleaner reporting? I am striving for a "jumbo" level of organization this year to make the digital upload seamless.
Any advice on documenting home-office expenses would be helpful.
