Please help me get out of debt - studentwish - 12-13-2018
I am quite far into my overdraft... It's a carry over from when I was a student, due to a mental disability I was unable to work and my university never provided me help. My family were abusive towards me and I used uni to escape, but I had to dip into my overdraft many times to make it work. I've left uni and it has been a couple of years since graduating of trying to top up my bank balance back to £0. I'm on benefits (with a note from a doctor declaring me not fit for work) which is £495 per month, my rent is £375, bills and council tax are around £200. It's kept me with somewhere to live, but if I want food I have to keep dipping into my overdraft which is now all gone. I'm £2000 in debt. I don't expect that I'll be able to make that from a begging website, but every penny counts and I can't afford not to ask anymore. Eventually I'll need to buy food when I run out so if I can even make it to the next month and get £30 that would be a victory for now.
Please even if it's just a small amount, I need your help. Thank you.
