My mother is 63 years old & she has Colon cancer. She uses a colostomy bag, the bag needs to be now removed & she had scheduled surgeries for literally 2 years now but the hospital keeps pushing back the dates & now it's getting really frustrating. She went in on September 5th last year & the hospital pushed it to May 9th, she went it on the said date & it was pushed back again, when she went back they said they didn't have a specific tool to do the surgery (a skin stapler) so she had to buy it with her own money then the surgery was pushed back again, she then got the stapler & went it on the given date then they told her that they gave her the wrong date, it's really frustrating. The public health system in Jamaica is horrible but we also don't have enough money to use private doctors & this is why I'm here try to raise funds so my mother can get her surgery done. $1000 USD would be a good enough amount. I'm a 23 year old who enjoys photography on my free time. I'm originally from New York City but about a year ago me and my family moved to Scranton, PA. Due to circumstances in my life, I've never had the opportunity to attend college, but now I finally do which I'm extremely grateful for, although I have to admit it has not been easy for me at all, going back to college after 5 years being out of school has been a challenge. 

I'm a Business Management student, I do have a part time work-study job, but my weekly hour limit is only 10 hrs a week and minimum wage here in PA is $7.25 an hour, so you can imagine, there's not much I can do with that. I also contribute half my earnings to help my parents out. I have been trying to get a second job outside of campus for the past year, but employment in Scranton is very hard, especially if you don't own a car. I've tried to use the public transportation but it's extremely unreliable and employers here require for you to have reliable transportation. 

I had money saved before to buy a car, but I had given it to my parents for the closing costs of the house we bought. So basically I have nothing now, my family have their own expenses and things to worry about, so they can't help me out either, I can't get another job because everyone in this place needs to own a car and if they don't the chances of them being hired are zero to none. This has been giving me anxiety lately because I already have so much on my plate to worry about and I've completely ran out of options so I'm in quite the predicament here and could really use any help! I'm hoping I can reach my goal by February or March. Please consider helping out a hopeless fellow college student who's struggling by giving any amount you can give, I would really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

I am a single mother of a beautiful soon to be 2 year old little girl, me and my husband just recently split & I am now having to do everything on my own. I got my own place, but just recently lost my job. My rent is due the 21st and there is no way that I can pay it along with my electric and car payment. Everything has just hit me all at once and it has hit me hard.. I'm doing the best I can and I am actively searching for another job. I just simply need help. My daughter is my world and I'm trying to do everything that I can to make sure she is taken care of.. this is all new to me and her. This is our only place to live, if I lose this house we will be out on the streets. Ive applied for probably 100 loans and I just keep getting denied. This is a last restort for me. So if anyone could find it in the goodness of their heart to help me and my little girl I would appreciate it more than anyone will ever know. My rent is $600. I dont even have half of that & I only have 5 days to come up with it. Things have been tough since the beginning, I got pregnant at 17 & my childs father has never been in the picture. Shortly after my daughter was born I met my now soon to be ex husband, things were going good until he got comfortable and decided he didnt need to support us anymore, he couldn't hold a job, my bills were barely being met. I finally said enough was enough and left and I'm trying my hardest to be able to give my daughter the life that no one else seems to be able to. It's just taking awhile for me to get up on my feet. Um.  Hi.  For all intents and purposes, you can call me Lex.  My real name is Ayanna for now until I can get it legally changed.  I need anything to disconnect from my life as it stands, eheh.  I just turned 18 this July and it’s turned out to be my worst birth year so far
So…I need a lot of money.  Obviously, so do most people on this site, but I need it for many things
- My fiancée lives in England with her own awful mother and I need enough money for us both to survive.
- People don’t believe that my mother is abusive, and at this point I don’t know, but I need money to pay for therapy considering I don’t have my own insurance yet because…
- CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), being autistic, and other things are making it hard for me to find a steady job that I can function with.
- I also don’t have money to properly start my business as a recording artist.  I at least want a MacBook or something so I can have GarageBand for free, because the iPad version simply isn’t enough for what I’m looking to do

where to start? my ex-husband and i (together since 2000, married since 2001, divorced in 2012 and reunited in 2013) lost everything we had less than a year ago due to an unfortunate event...and we had it all! we had built a business over 10 years that was very profitable (grew 300% in one year), owned our own home with a huge yard, three new vehicles in the driveway...blessed with a child in 2010...we were the home and family all the kids called "mom and dad"; sports practices and games, sleepovers, weekends, holidays and just plain fun. we had it all! then there was the accident...a child ran out in front of my husband on his way home and he couldn't swerve in time to miss him...he clipped him and the child was injured. of course my husband immediately stopped and helped; the police and ambulance were called and thankfully the child was okay...injured, but okay. my husband came home a mess...completely sick about the whole incident and while trying to comprehend what had just happened, the police show up and arrest him...with the local news station filming the whole thing! (they filmed him being arrested, our home and our business vehicles which had all our company info on them.) the news station broadcasted that he left the scene of the accident after hitting and injuring a child...they broadcasted false information! the whole city seen these false accusations and we lost 90% of our clients...in less than a year, we lost everything we had and have had to move in with a friend with what we could fit on a trailer. our home was foreclosed on, our vehicles repossessed and reputations destroyed all because of false information. we lived on savings for a year before that was drained and now we our in a place we never would imagine being...so i am asking for help. 

my goal is $2500. enough for a deposit and first months rent...for my family their own place rather than a room at a friends. i don't know how to do this...i don't even know where to begin...but help would be appreciated...and paid forward when able.
