Hard worker father feeding a family of five. I have always had a job and had worked very hard for my family. My wife went to college to get a degree and make life better, but after graduating she found it very hard to find a job and then Covid, now inflation, and my wife went into a deep depression and his now on medication and is not working still and with extra cost credit card got out of hand, but I was able to get a loan for twenty-five thousand to consolidate of our bills but now I just get by with little free money left after each paycheck. So, I am reaching out to get assistance for my finances and hope that I can get any amount since to help me repay this loan or extra money to breathe between paychecks. I tried to get a second job and do uber or Lyft, but they do not seem to pay much and cost more for gas then I make. Hello everyone, I'm a young single parent of 2 and I'm in desperate need of some help. We are currently homeless and have no one to help. I have been to DSS they tried to send me and my children to a homeless shelter in a city 2 hours away. I have no vehicle so I have no way to even get there but the thing is the lady there accidentally informed me that once I go stay out there I would no longer be able to go through there dss I would have to go through the one in the city. She also through in at the end that I would no longer be there problem. Who even says that! So any who I've been every where I can go for help just to be denied. NY (which is the state we live in) claims to have all these resources that can help but in reality they do not! The ones that they do have tehy make it impossible for you to even be qualified for. You would think being homeless with 2 small children would be enough! I'm beyond lost on what to do or how some people can be so unkind but I'm hoping and praying to run into some kind ones on here! I'm really not asking for much. I hate the fact that I'm in this situations and have to be on here asking for help instead of being the one to help because that's just who I am. I help even when I barely have the means. So I guess what I'm asking for is a couple nights at a hotel so I can have something stable for a few nights and focus on the next step instead of the constant worry about where were going to sleep every night making it so I cant focus on anything else. My name is Katherine, I am a mom of 2 amazing precious boys who deserve everything of the best life has to offer but as hard as it is to face the reality is that due to our financial circumstances im struggling to provide them with opportunities and experiences they deserve to become the best they can be.

My heart is broken and as tough and a strong willed person I usually am I must be honest and say that the current financial struggles and worries of a brighter future for my family are very dim. It is emotionally effecting me, the constant internal stress and worries are actually unbearable. 

My husband and I unfortunately lost our jobs during Covid lockdowns and this is what started the financial problems we are now faced with. During the process of trying to get back on our feet my father suddenly passed away from Covid and we had to relocate to try pick up the pieces. This loss unfortunately has made our struggles all the more harder to handle. 

We have been living day to day for over a year, survival mode is all we know at this point, it is not ideal for a family to live this way as it is opposite of wanting to create a safe secure happy home for my family.

We have exhausted all of our resources and although it is not easy to ask for help I am reaching out to kindly ask for assistance in helping my family and I to get back on our feet and on a path that we can create a better and brighter future.

Making a desperate attempt at saving oneself. I am on the verge of losing my home for delinquent taxes. I have been unable to work as of late and as a result, I've gotten behind. I share my home with my animal family and I fear more for them losing this home than I do for myself. My friend is in a difficult situation and they no longer have internet. I can’t go into too much detail without breaking their trust and privacy.

I want to try to raise enough for at least a month’s worth of internet (around $190), so she can continue to access job opportunities/offers, and other daily tasks, and her kids can be able to continue with school etc. Her living arrangements are not ideal and pretty unsafe, and plans to get work to save enough to move out. But without Internet, this is too challenging.

My name is Les Curtis, and I find myself in an incredibly challenging situation. Until March of this year, I worked as an owner-operator truck driver. Unfortunately, I suffered a stroke, which not only resulted in the loss of my job but also prevented me from driving commercial vehicles for at least a year, as per DOT ( Department of Transpotation)and FMCSA(Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)regulations.

As a consequence, I lost my truck because I couldn't keep up with the financial obligations, including a $4000 monthly payment, insurance, and other associated fees. To make matters worse, I depleted my meager savings to cover bills, assuming I would secure a new job before falling behind. However, that hasn't been the case.

Recently, I've been offered a job as a prison guard, pending the completion of a clean background check. While I'm confident that the background check will come back clean, it will take time - time I don't have. My family and I have been surviving on credit cards, most of which are close to their limits, over their limits, or already frozen due to non-payment. I've reached out to the credit card companies, and some have been understanding, offering potential solutions if I can catch up. Not all, but some.

However, the situation has become dire. Our mortgage is in default, and the bank is threatening foreclosure. Our electricity and water services are at iminent risk of being disconnected, and we are running out of food. Additionally, our vehicle insurance is about to be canceled, which will only make matters worse.

I'm humbling myself to ask for your help. I don't want to lose everything I've worked my whole life for. Even the smallest contribution can make a significant difference to us. If you are in a position to assist, I would be incredibly grateful for any financial support you can provide.
