Money is nothing more than a concept designed to sustain the class system.

Hard work led to a successful, good life, before depression sparked an addiction to retail therapy, spending my way to happiness.

I was diagnosed in September 2015 but it wasn't until February I realised the primary cause was now debt.

My saviour: a £22,000 debt consolidation loan would save £15,000 interest, take me from -£1,000 monthly disposable income to +£1,000; I could repay £800 monthly with £800 to spending money.

A legal letter to all my lenders would refuse me credit until repaid, an attachment of earnings order would get HSBC their money before I got my wage and to default on a debt of over £15,000 would mean instant bankruptcy and total financial hardship. 

This workable, low-risk fix would have cured my depression and I could live again. Without, I'd be driven back to the payday lenders.

HSBC refused in March and June. I complained to their CEO. Two investigations over 5 days, took 7 weeks. During this time, missed payments destroyed my credit file and ability to borrow from anyone, all thanks to HSBC.

Last Thursday I faced sleeping on the street or walking 10 miles home. I've walked home twice in the past week because all my banks refused to lend me £10 for a train ticket.

Last Friday, I cried at my desk and visited Samaritans to talk about my problems.

I go to bed earlier every night, and my last thought is always "when I wake up, there's going to be even more of this s**t".

HSBC wrote off my £10,000 debt; they must've known they'd done wrong, but I need MONEY to survive... then I can pay off my debts.

I've tried to put things right, but the banks don't care. For example, HSBC's mental health team answered my phone call with "Good morning, HSBC Collections". Yes folks, HSBC's debt collectors are responsible for our mental health.

I am a 23 year old Culinary Arts major at Johnson & Wales . I am an international student from the Caribbean & because of this I am unable to work in the U.S due to having a student visa. It is very difficult to get a job on campus, so I depend on my parents who send me what little money they can.  

I am currently in my last year of college & need a little more money for my tuition or there is a risk of expulsion, which messes up my visa status, puts my education on hold & ultimate stops me from achieving my goals. I am a fifteen year old student that attends a charter school in Texas, USA. I am currently in need of a computer for my school, since they have their courses online, and in the classroom. The laptop I was using was an old Dell Latitude D600 running Windows XP. I managed to use it after the battery broke on it, but shortly there was a short that ruined the whole motherboard. My school requires a computer, and we have already paid the expenses just to go to the school and cannot afford something like this. Laptops can be quite expensive and can be trash, but I have found decent hardware for the price that isn't garbage.

I am a single mother of 2 girls. We have recently been evicted from our house. We are currently staying with a family friend. we are in dire need of help. I work construction and due to rain have not been able to work to pay my water bill and it was shut off today 8/18/16. we have 4 children aging from 1yr5mths to 13yrs and really need water on. our bill was just this months due but our water company don't extend it a extra month.  ontop of that the $90 now has added $54 in fees so the added over half in fees then the actual bill. Hello, I am mother of 4 wonderful children and my husband and I recently seperated. I have trying to get a job however the city I live in has a long wait for child care and I have to have 2 seperate babysitters. My oldest child was sexually and physically abused at the age of 4 and suffers from PTSD, bipolar, anger and adhd due to the abuse witnessed and suffered. Per Drs orders he isn't allowed to be unsupervised with my other children. I have anxiety and depression really bad because the last 3 really good jobs I have landed my babysitter for him quit within weeks. I am 2 months behind on all of my bills and am about to be evicted.  I have asked the State of California And the US  Government  for some need help it looks like my Family  and the folks in Lytle Creek will not receive any help at all  because the Feds will not declare our area  A State Of Emergency for the Fire  and we will not receive any kind of funding help from the (((((Fire))))) my family and others was caught off guard so I am on here to asked for some much need help to keep my two boys 13, and 18 off the street we lost our home and our lives have been turn upside down in a matter of hours ,in the fire everything I work for went up in smoke and ash  and we have no where to turn, trying to beat the heat and stay off the street if you know what I mean,Staying with some friends right now In Rancho Cucamonga dont know how long that will last ,any donation  any donations will be deeply appreciated Thank You and God Bless.

My Mom Had two strokes. The second one was massive. She is very slowly improving. I am her only family hereand I spend many hours every day working with her and I keep her spirits up. I am not her primary caregiver yet so I don't qualify for financial help as such. My whole life is now devoted to my Mom's recovery. She can't speak or walk yet. I believe she can make a full recovery but it will take time. The problem is that I need help with rent and other bills or I will be homeless.
