Recently, my mum split up with her abusive fiance, and she decided that we'd rent a cute 2 bedroom apartment. At first, I loved it. When we first moved in, plenty of family members helped with groceries, bills, etc. to help my mum get back on her feet, but recently she's been insisting on doing things on her own; i'm proud of her for wanting to take charge of her new life, but things have slowly been falling apart and she refuses to recognize it.
She's struggling to pay bills on time, we barely have enough to buy proper groceries, so we usually buy some fruits & veggies from the farmers market, and some soup & noodles from the dollar store. My younger sister (10, I'm 15) and i have been doing okay, but my mum isn't doing well physically, mentally or financially. She works overtime almost every shift she gets, comes home and cooks dinner, then sleeps for the rest of the day because of how exhausted she is. It's been a while since i've seen her in a good mood, which is odd for her, since she is such a positive person. (She works in a home, dealing with the more violent folks with dementia.. feeding them, transporting them, cleaning them, etc.).
It's been a long time since I've seen her get a proper nights sleep, and her stress levels are through the roof. She insists she has it under control, and still won't accept any money from the family, despite how often they come to her to warn her that she's going under. I feel like we're running out of options, and i'm worried for her. Any donations, no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated

My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday and blocked all methods of communication with her because she knows she "won't be able to stay away". I know she still loves me and I need to get her back. The problem is she lives in Vancouver and I live in NYC and I haven't worked in 6 months because of a church music project that required for me to be away from home for that amount of time. My savings are all gone so I can't afford a flight. I am looking for work but I need to get out there as soon as possible. What can or should I do? Please help. I'm lost without her.

It's been a couple of months really tough and we've been struggling to pay the mortgage. we've done what we could to try and pay down our credit debt but it seems we never see the end of it.
I've tried to work 2 jobs for more than a year, but it got really exhausting and i can no longer do that.
I doing alll i can to pay my mortgage but what i can't cope with is my other credit debts .

Hi my name is dj and for the past few years things have been very hard for me. When i was 16 my mom pulled a knife on me and tried to stab me so ive been on my own since then im 20 now and still struggling i find odd jobs to make ends meet but its not enough. I can feel my health deteriorating and im only 20 years old ive had surgery on both my feet and ever since then its been hard trying to find a job where im comfortable and not in pain. I am currently living with 2 drug addicts who constantly does drugs and i hate the enviroment im in. Everyday its a struggle to eat and find good clean food . We have no hot water and are on the verge of are water being turned off from the owner's not paying past due bills due to there addiction ive tried several times to change their ways but to failure everytime Please if anyone see this anything would be helpful at this depressing time thank you to all who has read this

I was in a car accident in February while driving to sign papers for a new job. Before that, I had been unemployed (laid off) for a little over a year. Needless to say, I couldn't sign for the job. I suffered a compound fracture of my right ankle and I still cannot walk, so no job hunting either.  I have tried to look for work from home jobs, but almost all require a newer computer and/or a landline, which I don't have. I have run out of savings, and I'm behind on my mortgage. The bills are coming due with no money to pay them. I have an adult disabled son that lives with me. He gets SSI, but it is not much and doesn't even begin to cover the bills. I need physical therapy, but I don't have money for gas to get me there. I'm really desperate. Please help, if you can.
