Hello! I want to learn more programming languages to start on different kinds of projects. Sadly I can't afford my treehouse subscription anymore. I want to become a computer programmer and make apps for phones and games but I need to learn c# to do so, and I find treehouse as the best site to use for learning new languages. I only need 25$ for a month, and since I'm on vacation I would be able to use that month to learn all I can. I used the site before to learn python and webdesign.

An old Granny needs your help today, dear sirs and madams.
A granny in our neighbourhood is currently in a very bad situation after a serious accident.
She did not have insurance or anything. Her son is a useless person who almost abandoned his mother and now avoiding to help her as well and the biggest problem is his wife (the daughter in law of the old woman) is also ignorant about her. I am just an 18 year old kid, who dropped out of school because of my parent's financial inability, so you can imagine how hard it is for us to live our life. But we did not stop helping the old woman. She was recently diagnosed with some ind of blood disease as well, which is making the situation worse day by day. My parents are trying what we can. As I said before, the old woman's son is a useless and selfish guy. He literally left his mother and never cared for her. Instead, we are now stuck with our loans (that we took for her home) and the responsibility of taking care of his mother. We already are doing what we can but we are in urgent need of financial help because 40,000 dollars is a big amount for a poor family and no one here can (most don't want to) help us in any way.
My parent's predicament is this :
1- We have already used up all our savings on medical and related expenses, even took loans from people which needs to be paid now, so they cannot put up the required $40,000 in cash.
2- The only option we have now is to sell the house and become homeless, But that would not solve the problem as my parents and I would still need a place to live.
3- She will need multiple checkups and operations, as the doctor said, there is also a possibility that we may need to take her to a big city for better medical treatment which requires reasonable amount of money.
All the medical costs are being covered out of our pocket, making this harder and harder to afford this . Right now, we and the old lady need funds to help pay for:
- medical bills, treatment etc as well as the travelling cost , its not easy for a lower middle class family like mine to travel to another city or country for medical treatment
- support for my mommy, dad, sister and brother, who are looking after her and will go with her to a big city for better medical treatment
- To pay the loans which her husband took from people (they are harassing us as well)
- any other costs that will come up
Please give what you can. No matter how much it is, everything will help.
Let’s make sure our honest and simple granny can fight with the problems, Just because her son abandoned her, does not mean we can not help her. Lets do our best so that we can save her from this devastating situation and ma sure she has everything she needs to make a speedy recovery.

I want to do something for her as well as my parents. She may be old, but she is not alone, I am with her and will be, till my last breath. My mom has this trip planned for all her kids to go to Gatlinburg Tennessee and due to some financial issues, I have to tell her that I am unable to come. Hi guys, my name is Ami and I am 18 years old. I have my Associate in Business Admin and am currently underway to get my Masters @ 21.
Despite all my hard work, behind the scenes I am struggling like crazy. Over the span of 3 years, I’ve been through hell with no support.
A quick summary:
My mom died when I was 13 and I was forced to live with an abusive father. The house went into foreclosure, so I got two jobs and helped out. I was always beaten and taken as any of by my father. When he would get drunk, he would tell me that my “pocket change” didn’t help however he always took it. I’ve became very insecure and broken as a result. This past fall I enrolled in college and my dad wouldn’t sign my Parent PLUS loan. Finally, he did. A week later he put the loans in my name and my credit score plummeted. He took my car away and beat me a week before I left rob “make me fear him”. I can’t do anything because he has tainted my credit. I am on my own. This past christmas break, he kicked me out the house at 2 o’clock in the morning on Christmas Eve. I am begging for assistance, I have always done everything right in the eyes of a parent. I focused on school, never smoked, never drank; I never even partied. However, I am paying my tuition, phone bill, and paying for living expenses by myself. With 19 credits each semester, my two jobs are simply not enough. Most days I don’t eat because I have to budget. Please help lighten my load.
I just want to thank you guys for reading this far. The smallest amount helps and I hope someone out there knows that they’re not alone and that impediments are common. Thank you in advance for your time.
We are a family of 6 and I am the only one that is working at the moment. My husband has recently been diagnosed as bipolar and we are in the process of finding the right medication that will help him function right. Some days he doesn't even get out of bed, he is so depressed. I am struggling trying to make it. After paying bills there is just no money for food. I have asked for help from family but nobody is able to. I have tried to get a loan but no luck there either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
I usually hate to ask for money, often even help, but I'm afraid that this time I will have to try.
I am a college student in Hungary, and I grew up in a family that wouldn't be able to pay for college fees, so I had to study my butt off to get to where I am now. My only income is what my school gives me to fund my studies, which isn't much, especially so when it comes to Christmas and stuff... I love my family and so I wanted to give them the perfect holiday, but I ended up spending a tad too much, and I underestimated my own needs. Now College doesn't pay us until mid February so I'm in a bit of a trouble here, and I'm scared I wouldn't be able to feed myself until then.
I know people around the world are facing much bigger problems than this one, which makes me feel like a total jerk for asking for money, but someone I look up to said that when we are in a situation we can't help, like this one, it's just as real for us, and just because other people need more help, it shouldn't mean that we can't ask for some...
