Hi, my name is Brittany. I am almost 26 (on the 21st) and I have a one year old little girl. My child's father left me in an enormous amount of debt because he felt that alcohol was more important than me and his child. I didn't find out that he wasn't paying rent until after he moved out, and now I am way behind. My landlord has been nice enough to give me a little time to come up with the money, but unfortunately I have not been able to yet. I work full time and go to school full time and I am doing my best to be a good mom for my daughter but it's been difficult. I never thought I would be online asking strangers for money, but I'm not sure where else to turn at this point. I am not one to ask for handouts, but I would be eternally grateful if someone would be willing to just give me a hand up. Hello, my husband is a business entrepreneur who has owned and managed several small cafe and restaurant businesses during the course of our 15-year marriage and been quite successful at it. However, unbeknownst to him a former business partner who was a trusted, long-time friend was embezzling several tens of thousands in revenue from a joint restaurant that they owned in Maryland, which caused the business to fail and forced them into bankruptcy. We ultimately lost our home to foreclosure following the business going under and had to move back home closer to family in Ohio to help rebuild our lives. He has been struggling mentally and emotionally since this setback and has been trying to start over with a new business venture on his own but cannot get out from under the shadow of debt and back taxes still owed from the previous venture. I want to try to help my husband get back on his feet and rebuild his sense of self-worth and his ability to support this family. Right now I am the primary bread-winner of our family and am struggling to provide for all of us while also paying off our debts, with no foreseeable end in sight. I have done well and got by for quite some time, until recently. I am struggling,  I am applying for work and also for disability.  I am doing the best I can to get back on my feet.  However,  in the last year, my 2007 mercury milan premier that i bought and paid off early, threw a rod and blew the motor after a guy failed to replace the drain plug.  I saved up and bought a cash car from an individual with all the money I had to my name,  and it ran fine for about an hour,  died going 75 mph on highway in Dallas and never started again.  Then I became homeless,  lost or had stolen from me everything I had over time.  I checked myself into a mental rehabilitation program for almost a year.  I was released about a month ago.  I am trying to get my life together and my ONLY lifeline was my phone,  kept me in contact with important people,  i was able to get side work and editing photos etc. Also my only way to reach out when necessary,  get rides,  talk to therapists and mentors.  Someone stole my phone last Monday and I am definetly struggling. I just need help getting another phone,  walmart sells them fairly cheap,  around $70 plus tax maybe a little more depending on availability.  Can get unlimited prepaid service for around $45-$60 with sim kit I believe $10. If anyone is able to help me out at all I have cash app which is the easiest and fastest way for me to recieve funds. I’m a new doctor of physical therapy student. I live with my 85 year old grandmother and take care of her, my parents aren’t really involved in my life, so most of my finances are on my own. I am the first member of my family to achieve and advanced degree but it ‘s been a pretty rough year financially between applying to school, the costs of books/registration, traveling to school interviews. Logically, of course, I need to pay for all my grad school supplies BEFORE my loans come in in June since that makes sense. My fees and books alone are $3850. Hi! Please help me pay my current rent. I'm about to be homeless next week.
