As a last resort, I am asking others for help. In the last four years, I have lost my business and nine close family members. Trying to hold me together has been very difficult. I have been to counseling, but I am suffering from severe depression. I want out of this situation. I want my life back. I want to feel human again. I would like some help to start again, please. So. Here I am. After 31 years as a computer programmer I find my life changed dramatically after a head injury resulting in a brain hemorrhage and permanent  damage. It almost killed me. I am on disability for it, which isn't much, and can provide documentation. I can provide documentation for any of this. I've had to scale down our lifestyle a great deal over the past 5 years, not that we were living the high life, but we were doing good. Now....Simple pleasures are cherished as is each day.  I've lost our home. We live in a rental now. I've lost my dreams.  My 84 year old mother lives with me. I'm 61 years old with diabetes and brain damage.  I pick up odd jobs in our NW Illinois rural town usually a few hours at minimum wage. I even make a little playing guitar. But we are still poor. We run out of food now and then, but friends here help. I want to do some things for my mom before she passes away. I want to send her to Florida to see my sister (also retired and cannot help) I want to buy mom some  new clothes and a nice chair for her bed room. I cannot afford any of these things and it breaks my heart.
I don't know what else to say.  I love my mom and its breaking my heart to not be able to provide a few things while she is still with me.  All the money we have coming in goes for rent, utils, food, medical, and we still run short at times. I keep trying but they are not lining up to hire 61 year old brain damaged people. I pray somebody that has been blessed will help. As I sit here typing i can see mom in the living room.

I have been working while attending university to support myself for rent and tuition but it's not enough. I pulled out a student loan thinking I could simply pay it back and that it would help me get ahead. BIG MISTAKE. I have to make the choice between gas money to get to work, or food. Im afraid if I attempt to take out another loan (which Im sure I am no where near qualifying for now) This will get even worse. Anything would help at this point. Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

So, a little backstory; My name is daniel and i am 18 years old. i no longer live with my parents for personal reasons.
I moved to the town im in now a couple months ago, and its been really hard.

I recently went to the hospital because i was suicidal. they had prescribed me new antidepressants and an anti anxiety medication. they told me they should help immensely.
but, now brings the issue that i have not been hired yet so i cant afford them. the lady at the pharmacy did not give me a price yet, but im assuming it'd be around $30-$60 because thats normally what my prescriptions come to. im going tomorrow to ask about the price. so by the time this posts i can update with that information.

Hello. This is a difficult post to write, and a little embarrassing, but I do need financial help. On January 14 of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On February 27 I went out on short term disability to start chemotherapy. Surgery followed, actually two surgeries followed and I will start radiation in about 2 to 3 weeks. Because I am a flight attendant and I am not allowed to work during cancer treatment because of the chemotherapy and because I’m weak and exhausted, I can’t perform my job. I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to be eligible for short-term disability, however I am only making 60% of my salary and have medical bills left. I am also behind on my mortgage and on some utility bills. I also have 3 cats and 2 guinea pigs and must be able to feed them. Oh, and feed me...   I currently have a negative checking balance and must pay my power bill and buy groceries.
