  Debt assistance
Posted by: Kathleen Adams - 12-19-2020, 05:29 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

I was made redundant in April 2020 due to Covid 19 and I have not been able to find a job since then. A lack of a job has forced me to fall behind in my student loan payments and I have maxed out my credit cards trying to keep myself afloat. I have tried several ways to earn money but nothing has worked so far. I would greatly appreciate any donations you can make no matter how small you may think it is. Thank you in advance!   Leaving an Addict: Trying to Make Ends Meet
Posted by: amanda509 - 12-19-2020, 03:32 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Hello,

I had to leave my husband because he started to use heroin. That is hard even to type...I had to let go of the feeling that I was "abandoning" him because the thought of that eats at me. I had to leave for the sake of my mental well-being as well as the safety of our one and a half-year-old son. I have been on this rollercoaster and trying to help him with his addiction for two years now (this started while I was six months pregnant).  In going, I have forsaken the financial support I was receiving from him for my debt consolidation loan.  I have considerable debt that I have been working on for the past few years. The loan occurs twice a month at a little over $400 each installment.  The payments (on top of my car payment and the plethora of others) is causing great strain at an already mentally exhausting time for me. Dealing with a toddler is no laughing matter, for those reading this with children will understand all too well. I do not know what else to do other than to ask for help and hope someone is out there reading this...even if no one does, this was somehow therapeutic to say to the world. Thank you for your time, and any generosity is much appreciated.

All the best,
Amanda

Thumbs Down Help me keep christmas magic alive for my daughter
Posted by: MsHollyJane79 - 12-18-2020, 05:19 PM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Hello Everyone,
I am posting here in the  hopes that I may find someone to help me keep the Christmas magic alive for my daughter.  She is 10 years old and is on the spectrum.  Christmas is her FAVORITE time of year. She looks forward to her elf showing up ( she named her medicine Big Grin) and keeping watch on her to report back to Santa. Her favorite thing to do is to make treats for her family and favorite people and give them as gifts. She just such a loving, giving and amazing young girl and deserves to have that magical Christmas morning.
Due to her needs with homeschooling and being able to keep her evening schedule unchanged I am unable to work currently.  It is AMAZING to be with her ALL day but it's very unfortunate for us financially . I have applied for , and received, help with propane and food assistance for which  I am so grateful for! I also applied for unemployment assistance but, unfortunately it has been in review for months now and that was my last hope for getting presents from Santa under the tree. I am writing this post in the hopes that it will fall upon the view of someone that is in a position to share in the joy of keeping that Christmas spirit alive for my baby girl. I don't know how or when I will be able to repay it quickly but, i can promise to keep paying it forward in any way that presents itself and continue to teach my daughter the same. I appreciate all who take the time to read this and consider blessing my daughter with some Christmas magic!
Thank you,
HollyJane

In debt, late on rent and can’t afford Christmas presents
Posted by: amandamay - 12-18-2020, 02:50 PM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Hi there, if you’re reading this then you’re probably curious on what my situation is right now. Well here it is straight up, I’m quite in debt because I’m studying and I’ve moved out of home, I can barely afford to pay for my schooling and pay for food. I’m late on my rent and am desperately trying to find ways on how to get some money as fast as I can. I owe someone over $800 and I’m constantly getting hassled to pay it back. I also am unemployed and am having troubles looking for work due to corona virus. Last month was my partners birthday and I couldn’t afford to buy him a birthday present, now I’m afraid that I can’t even give him a Christmas present. I was going to surprise him and get him into the Christmas spirit by buying us a cheap Christmas tree but I couldn’t even afford that.

Please help me, every dollar gets me closer to being able to try and get something for him for Christmas and be able to pay off everything in my life.

Here is my PayPal. Help me please.

  Urgently Needing Help
Posted by: Dawan - 12-18-2020, 12:35 PM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

I am really in need of emergency help. I am a caregiver to my mom and everything has falling apart completely financially. We are running low on food, I'm about to lose the car I drive for work and to take my mom to her doctors appointments. It's gotten cold and the furnace is very old and has completely stopped working. To top it off our roof has started to leak. This isn't even half of what's going on with me. If there is someone that can be of help, I thank you in advance. Please help.

MUCH NEEDED Breast Reduction, Improve My Life
Posted by: bellanovelli - 12-17-2020, 07:18 PM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

I need financial help. I'm raising money for me to be able to afford my breast reduction on 1/5/2021 that is much needed, much overdue, and much expensive. I have tried to go through insurance multiple times, but I am not approved. The cost is a huge struggle for me, since I am in the hospitality and events industry. COVID has destroyed my income and commission. My job is even more time consuming to not be able to have a second job. Triple unfortunately, my credit isn't the best, but isn't the worst to receive credit finance help. I secured my surgery date with a deposit. Now, I am needing $9,000 to have my surgery. Please help me!

Although my breasts are really large for my petite frame, they are not large to qualify for the amount of grams to be removed for insurance to cover costs. I have wanted a breast reduction since high school. I have struggled with back issues, right shoulder pain, neck issues (went as far as snapping my SCM), terrible posture, clothes not fitting properly with my waist to breast size ratio, sports bra not working, and more... I know that this surgery will improve the quality of my life IMMENSELY. It will be a great domino effect with my personal and professional life.

This is super disheartening, super frustrating, and a super big burden of costs. The description of costs is below. I have completed my down payment to secure my date and I now need to prepare for the remaining balance.

Procedure: Bilateral Reduction Mammoplasty
Estimated Surgical Time: 3-4 Hours
Expected Recovery: Most patients usually take about 1 week off from work/school before returning.

  • Tape/Suture removal will be done at 2 & 3 weeks

  • Post Op Support Bra- you will wear a post op "soft/compression" bra after the procedure for approximately 2-6 weeks. This will be a soft bra (sports bra/ no underwire) you purchase at any retail store.
Pre-Operative Appointment: This appointment is approximately 2-3 weeks prior to your procedure. You will meet with our Nurse, sign your consents for surgery, be given your prescriptions that you will take to your pharmacy, and we will take your pre operative photos as well.
Post Op Visits: Generally we see you back at 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3-6 months, and annually. We will of course see you anytime but these are the standard appointments. This does include all fees (Anesthesia, Facility, Surgeon, all pre and post-operative visits).

If you are looking for additional information or validity in my procedure, please don't hesitate to ask. I feel very awkward asking for money very general and even more on the internet, but I have hit my breaking point of needing to figure the finances out. I also feel awkward posting any pictures, since this is related to the body.
