I’m after some help in catching up with credit card bills

So my partner said she was going to London to catch up with friends for a few days. Gave her the space but then come the Friday to return no sign of her. Then she texts from Sydney. Icing on the cake was I paid for the business class flight as she used a joint account card but my name was the lead on it. Just going around in circles each month paying off the interest and not getting anywhere in reducing the balance. Any help to chip away at it would be gratefully received.

As a single father to a four year old son, I know the importance of time management and finances. Always always always—rent, security, food and child care are my priorities. 

I’m not here to ask for tips on time management (though, if you are a writer and have some, I will accept them with a very large smile   ). Time management; arguably the hardest aspect of becoming a successful author. 

The reason I am here:
I have been without my writings for six months, as they are stored on iCloud (fortunately). My computer died on me awhile back, and I have been trying to save enough funds to replace it, and have been unsuccessful up to this point. Just when I think I am building, something comes up, the latest being an untimely vet bill. We love our cat, so naturally I could never think twice about spending more than I have saved up, on him. I feel fortunate that I make ends meet. I take good care of myself, my son, and our beloved pet. But unfortunately I haven’t any extra. 

If there are any successful authors and/or warm, kind people out there who are willing to lend a helping hand, I would gladly accept any form of contribution towards obtaining a new laptop so I can continue to pursue my dream. I’m out of my element asking for help like this. I truly am. As I am sure most people here are. Bless all of you for even taking the time to come to a site like this, to read and to help from the warmest places of your hearts.

Hello, everyone. I’m 18 living with my brother who is disabled and my mom who can’t work because she needs a knee replacement. I work part time and go to school full time, i recently got sick with pneumonia so I couldn’t go to work coughing since I’m employed in food service. My dad is not in my life so he pays child support but has only sent $30 which we used to help pay a bill, my brother is disabled so my mom receives in home which is mostly enough to pay the bills and when I get paid we use that money to buy groceries. I wasn’t able to get paid since I was out and had no sick hours so I’m stressing especially with thanksgiving also coming. I am asking for 200$ to buy groceries and pay a utility bill.     I am 63 and close to completing several degrees at the same time. I have paid my own way for much of my study, and received scholarships and financial aid for the rest of it. I have maintained a 4.0 G.P. A. throughout, and tend to lead my classes, into which I put much more than is required. Owing to a professor being "terminated" for scandalous behaviour at my college, I could not complete the classes which only he taught, leaving me in "suspense" until he is replaced. In the interim, because I could not take three of his classes, my financial aid was cut, leaving me in a proverbial "pickle". I have now fallen behind on a few bills, including most especially my rent, and must perforce have recourse to this present request, a friend having told me about this site. I am now behind by about $3,000 (U. S. dollars, since this site seems to be international), even though I have begun to generate a small income. I am used to hard work and have been in business more often than not, but I am now paying the price for absolutely committing to completing my studies. I am facing an eviction in a few days if I do not pay my rent, and, although I am endeavouring to move mountains in order to meet this bill, the results of my efforts have not yet matched the required sum. On top of this, I am doing a good deal of charity work, giving free tutoring to those who need it, so, I hope, one of your kind selves will help me to pay my current bills so that I may carry on with my studies and helping others by tutoring. Hello. I am sorry it has come to this I don't normally ask for help but for my 16 month old daughter I have no choice, been having a serious financial situation for some time now.

so you can understand my situation you need to know alittle about me. I have autism, aspergers and also dyslexia so might be hard to read. when I was 20 I suddenly developed anxiety and didn't leave the house for 5 years couldn't even look at the door without being sick. so after a long 5 years I managed to start going out again and with the help of my girlfriend i started working for 2 years and move in with her. had an amazing beautiful baby and everything was amazing, life completely turned around. About one year ago when I got an amazing opportunity as a manager at greenwoods menswear and I was so happy! we all was.. it was November going December and everyone got me really nice clothes for the job. I couldnt believe I was going to manage a store. I did really well as a manager for 3 weeks. then Christmas came and I was in on 27th December. got there with all my nice clothes on and looking amazing as I do say so myself. but then when I got to the store to open up the bailiffs was there and he explained that the company hasn't been paying any rent on their propertys for some time and had all mail transferred to them so we couldn't know. it was all over before it begbut for my daughter I got back up and applied EVERYWHERE but nothing so went back to college studying electrician installation on a night course. all I could get for work is a pot washer job that pays £100 a week but really struggling financially now.



I am £1300 behind on my mortgage an ud £1072 behind on my rent because and i live on a shared ownership and all am getting is £100 a week from a pot washing job I have. other debts including council tax is coming the weekend to remove goods and court letters it's scary, please if you could help me I wish I could pay you back some day.

I have lost a lot this year, and it is taking a lot for me to reach out, as I feel that others may have more dire circumstances, however I am currently on the verge of becoming homeless.  I lost a wonderful job this year, and have had trouble finding further gainful full-time employment.  I am working/have worked part-time, one-time/gig jobs, as well as tried all off the online suggestions (virtual assistant, surveys, offers, etc.), and I am continuously applying to and interviewing for full-time positions.  I do have a degree and solid experience, but everyone else I know is having trouble finding anything as well.
I have exhausted all of my financial resources, including my savings and unemployment, and I currently do not have enough gas to make it to any interviews that may come up.  I have been renting a room from "friends," and I am now being told that I am to be out preferably by the end of this week, but will be given until the end of next week if need be, as they have another individual who is able to pay rent on December 1st, which will allow for Christmas gifts for their kids (those whose extra room I am renting).  I have a dog and two cats who I also fear for, but will figure out.  
I don't mean for this to sound so "woe is me," I am simply tired and scared.  I am doing everything in my power to provide for myself - I am in my 30's and have always been very self-sufficient yet humble; I am so VERY grateful for any and all help.  I do need to eat and put gas in my car, as well as come up with a small amount of funds to contribute to where ever I end up having to go from here.  Thank you all.
